A customized tour that included Quba - We had booked a weeklong trip with Guided Azerbaijan and planned several excursions with them. We had particularly outstanding service from Lamia in planning our trip and with our driver, Tahir, who was with us the entire time. While we did not do this exact tour outlined here, we instead planned a customized half day trip to Quba and to the beautiful Candy Cane Mountains. Unfortunately, our guide became sick, but we could still go ahead with the driver, who was so helpful, and Guided Azerbaijan was very responsive and refunded the cost of the guide. We had an especially fun time visiting the carpet making center. We were shown how the carpets are made and allowed to try ourselves. We did not leave without making a purchase of a stunning silk rug that we will cherish.

Majestic mountains - Nice trip. Majestic landscapes of Caucasus! The Khinalig village left very dual feeling of being unique place but very neglected one... Thank you Guided Azerbaijan for patience arranging and rearranging our trip! Due to some reasons our schedule changed several times, but the guys managed to rearrange things even the very last minute.

Great family tour to Guba and Khinalig organised by Guided Azerbaijan! - We had a private family full day Guba and Khinalig tour organised by Guided Azerbaijan. The driver and guide arrived on time to our hotel. The minivan was nice, clean and comfortable. We saw many interesting sights such as Khinalig Village 2350m, Qacrash forest, Juma mosque, Carpet Weaving factory, Guba Memorial Complex and Red Village - Jewish Settlement. Thanks for organising this great tour! I really recommend the tour with Guided Azerbaijan!

Journey to the highest habitable place in azerbaijan - It was a wonderful place to visit and the village is the highest residential area in azerbaijan. The route to get there is just so scenic surrounded by picturesque mountains. Thanks Lamia from Guided Azerbaijan for suggesting me this place to visit and organising my trip. It was quite an interesting experience!!

Stunning scenery with great guide - Prior to going on this tour, the communication with Guided Azerbaijan was excellent and they were very helpful with organising it. The tour itself was fantastic. Never dull and provided with plenty of background information. Started with a 2 hour drive to Quba with a visit to the red town, carpet factory and a mosque. The red town is architecturally fascinating whilst seeing the work and dedication carried out in the carpet factory was also very interesting. This was followed by an absolutely astonishing drive to Khinalig. The pictures provided by others look fantastic, but they still do not do it justice. Khinalig itself is a beautifully set village. On the way back we had delicious Qutabs in the forest. Elnara, our guide, was great throughout. Knowledgeable, friendly and ensured that we were comfortable and happy throughout. We were asked if we wanted to stop at places on the way, and Elnara arranged tea with one of the local farmers in Khinalig which was an unforgettable experience. Whilst a long day, it goes quickly. Highly recommended!

Highly highly recommended tour!! - If you want to savor the true beauty of the Caucasus Mountains, you have to include this tour in your itinerary. We were awestruck by the beauty of the Caucasus surrounding the village Khinalig. The serpentine road leading towards the village alone is gonna take your breath away. The other highlight of the trip was a visit to the Synagogue. Our guide explained how one can see the Mosque from standing in front of the Synagogue from one side of the river and at the same time the Synagogue can be seen from the other side of the river if you stand in front of the Mosque. That symbolizes the unity and tolerance of Azerbaijani culture. That really moved me! In today’s world we need such qualities to be imbibed in cultures. We also visited the winter Synagogue and we received a very warm welcome. Our hearts were really filled with gratitude after this tour. A huge shoutout to the people behind making this a successful trip. Fuad, who arranged our preferred driver and guide although I confirmed him about the tour really late at night. Our driver Djavid was really professional and very polite. Last but not the least, our amazing guide Elsevar. I highly recommend Guided Azerbaijan!

Great tour - Great tour. Communication was super right from the get go. Met our guide outside our hotel with the driver. Naira our guide was really good and kept us informed along the way and took us to some of the most beautiful sites. Taking off one star because we felt like the driving was a bit rash on the way back and there was no defined stop or set time for lunch.

Good tour, amazing scenery, but long drive - Enjoyed our tour with Nurlan as our guide and Jamal as our driver. We learned a lot about the country and the area we visited. Jamal did a great job driving up to Khinalig and back. One drawback was that the back windows of the car were heavily tinted. Difficult to see the scenery without rolling down the windows which were manual and not easy to roll. In Khinalig, we climbed up to the top of the hill with the cell tower — great views, but the guide should have stayed near us as we climbed up and down since both of us are in our 70s. Enjoyed seeing the mosque and Jewish area of Guba. We elected not to go to the Genocide Memorial as it was getting late in the day.
