Informative fun tour - This is a small owner guided tour. What makes this tour special is the owner/tour guide’s enthusiasm for the whole process. He is responsible and in control of the process from managing the bees to making the alcohol. His knowledge of the whole process is impressive along with his willingness to share. We tried multiple drinks and asked many questions without ever feeling like we had imposed. Highly recommend the tour for an upcoming business with a passionate owner.

Unique and interesting tour with samples! - What a delightful tour! One of the owners gave the tour and it was really interesting - what a unique concept to have hives in the city and ferment and distill it! The tastings were fascinating and I really enjoyed several of the liquors. Would have bought more if I could have taken them as carryon luggage. Bartender was perfect - knowledgeable and chatty.

Highly recommend! Engaging tour and great taste! - We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and tasting at Apikol! The owner was very friendly and gave a great explanation of their hives and processes. We got to see their distillery and their closest hive, which is in the building! The tasting was enjoyable. We all got to try their mead (which is a dry mead, different from the sweet ones I have tasted before), and then everyone got their pick of two liquor tastings. I tried the raspberry one and the rum one. Very good! We were visiting from the US with carry-on luggage, so unfortunately were not able to buy a full bottle to take home, but they do sell some small 3oz bottles so we got two of those. They also cannot legally ship it to the US, so for us, it was most likely a once in a lifetime taste. If you're from Quebec City or the surrounding areas, they give a $3 discount if you bring the bottle back to them to encourage sustainability, which I thought was great. If you enjoy mead, rum, or vodka, and enjoy learning about the processes it takes to create them, this is the activity for you!

Informative and tasty tour - What a fun find in the city! The tour was so informative and you could really feel the passion that the owner has for bees and the work he is doing. We went as a family of four that included two young adults with not much alcohol experience. We all enjoyed the tasting and would encourage others to check out this gem of agriculture in the city.
