Great tour! - Great tour! Enjoyed the beautiful hotel and seeing it through the decades! Our tour guide made it so memorable by dressing the part of a grand lady!

Great tour, wish it was longer!! - My family and I had the pleasure of touring the Château Frontenac. The tour was so nice however, I wish it was longer! Felt like there were so many nuggets in that hotel, also wish we could’ve seen what a hotel room looked like in person. Our tour guide (François) was spot on- good at playing the part, really enthusiastic and shared a wealth of knowledge on the hotel and its history. Highly recommend if you are short on time and want to see the inside of the hotel. Also seemed reasonably priced.

Hotel Frontenac tour - Tour of the Frontenac was very interesting, but the group was too large for some of the areas we visited. Tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable..

Allowed us to know the history of the castle so very nice! - Great visit with a very friendly Guide and very pleasant to listen to. With a small theatrical production that had a lot of fun!

Well worth a visit- a taste of Europe. - Beautiful historical city, clean, friendly, well preserved and maintained, no beggars, no evident graffiti. Pleasant to walk about, not easy to park a vehicle , but paid parking available. We parked our RV in the Basin Louise for 75$ per night( no services, but very conveniently located for walking through Lower Town or taking funicular to Upper Town). Excellent choice of restaurants , both high and low prices. Perfect for history buffs, walkers and hikers, one does need to be fit in order to walk about as the climb between Lower Town on the harbour and Upper Town on the cliff is steep and winding. Magnificent views on the river as one walks along the boardwalk of Dufferin Terrace, in the shadow of Chateau Frontenac.

A beautiful experience - Hello.
We have reserved a place for the guided tour of Château Frontenac.
Reservation was made online, an error occurred and the correction was made directly by telephone. The employee was professional and interpersonal.
The majority of the group was present for the tour, we waited for a family of 13 who finally arrived 15 minutes late.
The Guide did not speak loudly enough, you had to be vis-à-vis it in order to hear it better. His presence could have been more energetic.
New and special places could have been added to the tour.
Still, I recommend this activity, this impressive monument and its stories.

Would not recommend - I thought I was going to hear some interesting history and architecture, etc. this felt like a promotion for the hotel. It should have been free. They only showed us the lobby, a hotel room, and rose room. It wasn’t presented well and guide seemed in a rush and annoyed. Would not recommend. You can walk through the hotel for free without a guide and learn just as much.

Will not recommend - The tour was in French. We could not go on the tour. We could not get a refund. We will not use or recommend Viator again.
