The bleakest era of New France is nearly upon us! Would you like to spend an hour and a half in the company of a notorious criminal ghost from the times of New France? Your spectral guide will escort you through Old Quebec. Allow the gloomy ambiance of the ancient city, once the sun sets, to engross you. The executioner Jean Rattier and his wife Marie Rivière are calling you forth, yet a query persists: Are you brave enough to partake?

Great Tour! - This tour was a lot of fun. The tour guide is dressed as a ghost and tells true crime stories of the early history of Quebec City. Interesting and fun.

Great walking tour and you will learn alot! - Our host was very entertaining and knowledgeable and really got you involved with the stories. Went with my 3 kids, youngest is 11. It was a good walk through town and learned alot about its history. I highly recommend this tour.

Amazing Walk - Entertaining, engaging, hostoric and fabulous ! The actors had amazing presence. I can't think of a better way to visit this old city of secrets ;)

Great experience - It was quite an experience mixed with historical, gruesome and funny tales that took us back in time. My teens enjoyed the experience.

Fun way to explore the city’s gruesome history - great for teens! - Such a fun activity to do with my 14-year old on our first trip to QC. Thank you to our wonderful and very animated tour guide for making this experience so memorable and for showing us some really interesting parts of the city that we otherwise would have missed! Note that this is not a ghost tour but more a walk through Old Quebec while listening to a master story teller recount the more gruesome stories of a time and people past.

Superb Guide - Terrible weather, raining cats and dogs but our wonderful guide made it wonderful. Dressed up for her roll and gave a great performance for the two hour tour. Well worth getting wet!

Something different, something fun. - Our guide was the 8:00 Jean, who provided the English tour. He was very entertaining and tried hard to get everyone involved throughout the tour. Sadly, we had a pretty shy group, so our family and one other really played along the most. However, the tour was very interesting and different than a ghost tour. You learned about crime and punishment in the days of New France and how the colony first established itself in the new world.
