A Little Taste of Quebec - We loved every bit of food and every bit of information Marie showed and gave us. She was very knowledgeable, informative, fun and delightful. She gave us very tasty food to try. We learned a lot about how people lived and ate in Quebec. We loved the culture and the cuisine. Everything was locally sourced. We LOVED everything with maple syrup! We really enjoyed this tour. I would highly recommend doing this if you plan a visit to Quebec and ask for Marie. She makes you feel like she was your favorite teacher growing up showing you around or your favorite Aunt who loves to cook and you treats as a child. The food is delicious but most of all the people. My husband and I plan to come back again.

My favorites include Lion's Mane at La Buchette, Poutine at Maison Livernois, and the sweet treats at the Comptoir Boréal - Chez Boulay. These dishes perfectly highlighted the region's local ingredients and craftsmanship. The pace was relaxed yet engaging, and the portions were generous enough to feel like a full meal by the end of the tour. Phil also shared plenty of insider tips, making it a fantastic way to discover hidden gems you might not find on your own. We asked Phil for a recommendation on a restaurant for onion soup. His recommendation was fantastic and we had a lovely lunch there the following day. Must do tour - Phil our guide was fabulous, kept the group engaged and has diverse knowledge about the history of Quebec City! Would be nice to have more background info about how the restaurants develop their menus, decor, chefs, etc. You do end the tour with your appetite satiated. Highly recommend this tour!
