Phenomenal tour even in cold conditions - Samuel Dubois was a phenomenal guide. Enjoyed his sense of humor, explanations, and his attitude to embrace the snowy conditions. I would come back and take the tour again in some summer weather to catch what I lost. Such a great introduction to Quebec old city and its overall history. Came with my family and my three high school boys appreciated him as well.

Je Me Souviens - Sam led an amazing tour that captivated the attention of even 13 and 14 year olds. He is extremely knowledgeable and presents his information in a fun manner. We did it just before carnaval started and the light snow falling made the tour even more magical. Highly recommended. Random french word as he recommends - Bibliotheque From your new friends in BC.

Discovery, anecdotes and fun – A guided tour at the top👍! - Samuel, a passionate and exciting young guide. We discovered Quebec City from a new angle. Between captivating anecdotes , iconic monuments , the most discreet and key dates, each stop was rewarding. His enthusiasm brought history to life, immersing us in the heart of this magnificent city. This tour allows you to see Québec from the inside, beyond the tourist facades. An immersive and rewarding experience that I highly recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyable. - Went on the last tour before Christmas which was a chilly 23rd December. This was a fantastic way to spend the morning. Sam pointed out and spoke about lots of interesting locations in Old Quebec. Also gave some tips for everyone for the remainder of their visit. Included some quirky facts which I appreciated. I also appreciated Sam telling me where I could find a pharmacy near my hotel to buy hand warners as my fingers were freezing, even inside my mittens & gloves!

Covering ground in Old Quebec - Thank you, Samuel, for a very informative, walking tour of Old Quebec. We covered a lot of ground, with a variety of interests covered - architecture, history, modern history, unique stories of people from the past. As a Canadian who studied overall Canadian history through public school, it was so informative to have a deep dive into the history of Quebec City. So many cool stories! And thanks to Samuel for a great dinner suggestion and ideas for our next day in Old Quebec….Merci beaucoup!

Fantastic Walking Tour with Sam @ Viator - A Fantastic Walking Tour with Sam in Quebec City! Visiting Quebec City for the first time, I decided to join a walking tour to get the most out of this beautiful and historic destination. I’m so glad I did because Sam, our guide, made it an absolutely unforgettable experience! From the moment we started, it was clear Sam was passionate about the city. His knowledge of Quebec City’s history, culture, and architecture was incredible, and he had a way of explaining things that made every story come alive. Whether it was the fascinating history of Old Quebec or the charming details of hidden alleys, Sam kept us engaged the entire time. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable, but Sam was also hilarious! His humor added such a fun element to the tour, and he had our group laughing multiple times. He was quick with a joke or a playful comment, which made the experience feel lighthearted and entertaining. On top of that, Sam was so friendly and approachable. He took the time to answer our questions, made sure we felt comfortable, and even gave us fantastic recommendations for restaurants and attractions to visit after the tour. You could tell he genuinely cared about making our visit to Quebec City special. I can’t recommend Sam’s walking tour enough! If you’re visiting Quebec City, this tour is a must-do, and you’ll be lucky to have such a fantastic guide to show you around. Merci, Sam!

Adequate - Tour was adequate. Guide was affable and welcoming. However, left feeling there were sites we didn’t even see such as the cathedral. Spent a lot of time in front of the old jail with only a small portion of the time spent on information about the jail itself. Also rather than walk by some points of interest the oldest building that housed a restaurant and the battleground we were just told it’s over there. Since it’s cold we’d have preferred to walk to these sites rather than just stand in one spot and have them mentioned.
