Great guide; good 2-hours - The door was just right. The guide knew more than I expected and was both common enthusiastic appropriately. His knowledge seemed very deep, his voice was loud and clear.

A fun way to learn history - Our guide, Gary, was very knowledgeable, and we loved how he got into character as Louis Hebert! He even dressed the part. We stopped often to learn the history of the city and the province. We were taken to spots like the seminary that we probably wouldn't have discovered on our own. It was very informative and entertaining - a unique way to discover and appreciate the history of the city. The tour was on the large side (about 19 people), but we were able to follow along and hear everything well. I'm glad we went and would recommend it.

Perfect for your first time here, do at the beginning & see what deeper cuts you want to do in the city - We really enjoyed our tour, it started to rain and our guide took us to places to stay dry, his knowledge of history was excellent, he explained how we were going to walk through the new France history well, period by period. he also included information regarding the church and different ethnic groups with respect and honesty and kept the history true in a genuine way with no political agenda or bent to remove or diminish how people lived, what they believed and what happened centuries ago. We are in our 40’s our kids are 12 & 14 and had my mom who was 72 with us. We all enjoyed it

Phenomenal way to get oriented to the city and its history - Phenomenal introduction to Quebec City and its history. Our guide, Joanne, was knowledgeable, engaging, and flexible. Highly recommend. It didn't hurt that the weather was fantastic as well.

Do not recommend - We went for this tour of old Quebec City with a young kid and in a very hot and sultry weather. We did not enjoy it at all and it was a bit difficult to understand the guide. She wasn’t very engaging with everyone. Would not recommend and it’s not worth the price
