So much food and history! - This was a fantastic tour to start off our quick weekend in the Flushing/New York City area. Owen was super communicative and full of information on both Chinese and US history. We learned a lot about Chinese cuisine and respective regions, and there was so much food we had to take some back with us bc we were so full! Flushing Chinatown is the one to visit (not Manhattan), and I highly recommend this tour with Owen!

Fun food in Flushing - Flavors of Flushing was a very nice tour. We were late due to train issues. We stayed in touch with our Tour guide Owen. He was very understanding. He gave us so much information about the food. How the food is made and the history of the food. He also gave us history and other information about Flushing and the people who live here. Then we even got a good history on where the foods came from and different parts of China. I would recommend this trip. We had 5 stops and the food was very tasty.

Owen’s the best and the so is the food - The food tour was perfectly timed, delicious and informative. As a native of Queens, there is so much to learn about the history of Asian communities in New York. Owen knows so much about the delicious food but also about the history and cultural developments across the world that led us to eating dumplings in Flushing today!

Great and Tasty Introduction to NY’s Largest Chinatown - This tour was the perfect mix of food and Flushing neighborhood history, thoughtfully interlaced with anecdotal accounts of Chinese culinary traditions. Flushing, Queens is a bustling neighborhood and much more energetic than Manhattan’s Chinatown. It can be intimidating for non-Chinese or Korean visitors in terms of pace, language-barrier and “authentic” Chinese options (no Panda Express here), so we were in very good hands with Owen navigating us from eatery to eatery, experiencing specialties popular all across China. This tour had 5 stops, and you’ll definitely leave full. Highly recommended for tourists and NYers alike.
