Fun boat Ride and great day trip from Edinburgh - This was a great day trip- we got to see seals which made the entire thing worth it but also ended up seeing dolphins too. The boat ride was fun and scenic. I would definitely recommend getting the inchcolm island landing pass to spend time exploring the abbey ruins and island- very cool and just a short train ride from Edinburgh.

Enjoy the salty sea air, fun crew and the beautiful Forth river. - This was an off the beaten track experience which we loved. Personable staff provided tons of information about the history of the harbor and it was fun to cruise under the three bridges and then by the castle (which was a key location for any Outlander fans). We got lucky with the weather and after the 90 minute boat trip, enjoyed drinks and food at the nearby Scotts. One caution, don't miss the boat by going to the wrong pier area as this boat leaves from a smaller harbor about five minutes drive from the other bigger boats.

Interesting & informative cruise - We arrived at the car park in plenty of time for our cruise, we went into the office collected our tickets and booked our car in for the free parking. We were given instructions to meet at the pontoon at 11.55. The boat cruise was 90 minutes long, you can walk around and swap between sitting on deck or inside. There was commentary on the area and points of interest. Great views of the bridges and Blackness Castle. We had a lovely cream tea & cup of coffee. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Enjoyable cruise - Really enjoyable trip yesterday, I'm from Dunfermline so it was interesting when the boat went past Rosyth naval base and then past Limekilns somewhere I frequently visit. As always going under the three bridges is always exciting especially the rail bridge. Would recommend this trip

Amazing castle and great views - Nice leisurely cruise along the Forth. There were SEALS on the way! The Castle is fabulous, although we saw it only from the water. Great history of boat-building and naval bases along the way. Good opportunities for shots of all three Forth bridges lined up. I was saddened to learn that I had to pre-book a scone with jam and cream as those are like hen’s teeth and unicorns in Scotland (most do only butter and jam). I must’ve missed it in the fine print. Otherwise, a nice event. The weather was not wonderful, but it didn’t pour rain either, so enjoyable overall.

History and scenery - The bridges are beautiful and thrilling to sail underneath. The cream tea was a delicious bonus. The commentary was good but some inaccuracy and tgtthe captain was lovely but his comments were very hard to hear.

Disappointing - We were given a gift voucher for the Blackness Castle, 3 Bridges and Cream tea trip. Whilst the trip was a relaxing and fairly enjoyable experience we did not get to Blackness Castle as billed on the ticket although we did get fairly close to Inchcolm Island. I am quite glad it was a gift voucher and that it did not cost us any money. The hot drink and dry scone with jam and clotted cream was underwhelming. The boat did not return to the same berth where it began and we were dropped off some way from the car park down a steep gang plank which would test those with low mobility, along a floating pier which ends with a low hanging beam where you have to be careful not to bang your head. Had it not been for the missing Blackness Castle part of the trip I might have recommended it.

A WASTE OF MONEY UNLESS YOU LIKE BAGPIPE MUSIC, DRY SCONES AND SARCASTIC TOUR OPERATORS - What a waste of money and an embarrassment for Scottish tourism. £48 for 2 for the 'pleasure' of: uncomfortable seating, and a serve yourself 'cream tea' which consisted of a dry scone served in a polystyrene box, a paper cup of tea with the bag left in, hardly enough cream for one side of the scone and a tiny packet of jam. The incessant awful droning bagpipe music drowned out the sound of the tour guide's commentary which made it pointless. To add insult to injury, my complaint was fobbed off with a cheeky response by the tour operator. What a disappointment for visitors to Scotland if this is the best we have to offer. I won't be back but thanks for the sarcastic response!
