Embark on a journey to whisky heaven with our Ultimate Whisky Experience tour, a one-day adventure departing from Edinburgh. Explore two renowned distilleries: Dewar’s and The Glenturret, and unwind with a peaceful visit to the charming village of Aberfeldy along this Scottish Whisky trail.
*Please note, Glenturret Distillery is closed in January, and the tour will include a visit to Blair Athol Distillery instead.
- Minimum drinking age is 18 years old. ID required.
- Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them board and disembark.
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately.
- Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or a full refund.

Nice one day whiskey tour - Our guide Andrew T is very nice. He is knowledgeable and informative. I now know more about Scotland. More, the car is clean and comfortable.

Excellent tour - We joined the whiskey tour and had a great time. Andrew T was our guide and he is absolutely amazing and knowledgeable.
We had a whiskey tour and some fantastic tasting. I will certainly recommend this tour if you are a whiskey lover.

Great visit and tastings - Was a great experience.
We had a nice day with Mary as our tour guide. Seem a lot of the country side and great visits to both distilleries.
Only issue was the space in the bus with a group of tall Dutch guys.
But Mary also solved that for us!

Beautiful views, great whisky! - This tour was one of the highlights of our trip. The Highlands are stunning - every turn the bus took delivered postcard-worthy views. Both distilleries had great experiences for learning about and tasting the whisky, and we loved the short stop in Aberfeldy for lunch (although an hour is fairly tight and flew by!).
Our driver Graeme was very knowledgeable and engaging to listen to. Great storyteller, seemed like he had the whole bus laughing at times!
I personally wish the distillery tickets were included when booking, but I do understand that it’s more inclusive for folks on the journey who aren’t doing the whisky portions of the tour. Easy 5 stars overall!

Good Tour - Marty our tour guide was really funny and knowledgeable. Maybe rotate the music selection for variety.
Both tours were fun and educational. Loved that some selection were only available there not sold everywhere.
I would give it a 5, but my two personal gripes/suggestions are: 1. Look for a tour bus that has bathrooms on board and/or have a pick up next to a coffee shop with bathrooms before taking off instead of having to walk down 5-7 minutes to a coffee shop.
Two, it would have been nice to not deviate from the itinerary and stop in town for lunch. The Dewey's distillery lunch options were not lunch options at all.

Great Day In Whisky territory. - This trip was amazing. Marty was our guide and did a terrific job during the whole day. He kept us entertained and enlivened us as to the history of the area we were driving through. The tours were great and very educational as to the distilling of the beloved Scotch whisky. Thoroughly enjoyed this experience.

Shocking, awful… YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED - Gutted! Avoid at all costs… just flown into Edinburgh for a valentines weekend and highlight whisky tour for tomorrow..my wife has just got off the phone after being told less than 24hrs the trip was cancelled as not enough people will be going… no empathy, no accountability and to top the lot, the rude administrator (lady) hangs up hiding behind “it’s in the T&Cs.. after a second attempt to resolve the issue a different administrator (lady) says you can choose an alternative trip instead…. Oh get this, “I heard the call with my colleague and she’s wasn’t rude!” Safe to say we won’t be going, I’m embarrassed for the company and sad my wife and I won’t experience a trip we’ve been looking forward to for months… thousands of pounds out of pocket…. Disgusting… why can’t people/companies take better care and responsibility when things go wrong. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Awful Valentines experience - I booked this as a Valentine gift for my husband and we flew in this morning, booked a hotel ready for tomorrow's tour which was booked some months ago!
I have literally just got to the hotel and received a message saying that it was cancelled due to numbers!!! I said how upset we were and the very condescending girl st the Company said awwwww sorry its in the t’s and c’s! After a brief conversation she put the phone down on me! I called back and spoke to another equally rude girl who again reiterated t’s & c’s in her unsympathetic manner! Disgusted just how bad this service is and now I will surely be fighting for a refund! Surely if numbers were that low they would have known to warn people. Shame on you Timberbush tours! What a hideous experience and Happy Valentine s
