Get your pulse racing on an ATV adventure on Queenstown Hill! Riding a fully automatic, 400cc all-terrain vehicle (also known as a quad bike), you’ll follow trails to the hilltop for panoramic views over Queenstown. Comprehensive training is provided, along with safety equipment and clothing and transport from Queenstown. This small-group tour is limited to 11 people, ensuring you’ll enjoy personal attention from your guide.
- Minimum age is 16 years; 12 - 15 years old’s can ride as a guest with our instructor
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
- Minimum numbers apply (min 2 per tour for confirmed departure, min 4 on NZ public holidays). There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund
- Pick-ups available from central Queenstown accommodations.
- Quad Training: Riders must display ‘safe riding’ skills during the training phase of this tour. Don’t worry if this is you, we offer either a $50 dollar refund or our guides will drive you up to enjoy the epic views.

This experience is a MUST! - My partner and I had such a great experience doing the quadbike tour, that we rated it the best activity we did while in Queenstown for 2 weeks.
The guides were a good balance of professional, friendly and fun and we felt extremely well prepared to quad bike up the mountain to see the stunning views Queenstown has to offer. Loved the extra touch of providing banana bread and hot drinks after reaching the top :)
Would absolutely do this experience again with Nomad Safaris.
Thanks so much for being the highlight of our trip!

Great activity! - We did the quad bike tour today and had such an amazing experience. It was my first time, and Jake and Sam made sure everyone was comfortable with the bikes and even had a test track before we got on the real track. They went over all the safety instructions and provided refreshments on top of the mountain, which was a nice touch. The views were incredible and the experience was incredibly fun. I would highly recommend!

Amazing Experience - The views were fantastic, and the guides, phoebe and jordie, were super nice and helpful! We all had an amazing time going up and around the Queenstown Hill. Will definitely be doing it again in the future!

This was awesome! Book it now! - The tour guides were awesome! They were very thorough in making sure we were all comfortable in operating the quadbikes and that everyone was safe during the ride. The view from the top of Queenstown hill was spectacular! We even encountered some sheep on the path and the tour guides let us stop and take some pictures. Would highly recommend for any experience level!

1000000000000/10 EPIC - Ben and pheobe were absolute legends! The trip was amazing and we had such a good time. The guides were incredible and made sure we were safe AND having a good time. Epic views, lots of thrilling turns and bends and an overall downright kiwi adventure. Couldn’t recommend them more. Walked away feeling like it was more just a group of friends going on a ride which is fantastic. LOVED IT! 10/10

Amazing experience! - We had a fantastic trip on quad bikes with Benjamin and Phoebe! The training was fun but thorough, they made sure you felt very comfortable before we set out. The tour itself was amazing, great views of the surrounding area. The ride was very exciting, lots of twists and turns and ups and downs. Thanks so much Nomad, and thanks so much Ben and Pheobe!

Must do experience!!!! - One of the best things I have done in NZ!!!! Did the quad bike tour with my 2 adult kids and it was soooo much fun. Jordy - our instructor - was great at helping us get comfortable with driving the quad bikes and made the whole afternoon so much fun! Would highly recommend this adventure to all 😊
