Get your pulse racing on an ATV adventure on Queenstown Hill! Riding a fully automatic, 400cc all-terrain vehicle (also known as a quad bike), you’ll follow trails to the hilltop for panoramic views over Queenstown. Comprehensive training is provided, along with safety equipment and clothing and transport from Queenstown. This small-group tour is limited to 11 people, ensuring you’ll enjoy personal attention from your guide.
- Minimum age is 16 years; 12 - 15 years old’s can ride as a guest with our instructor
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
- Minimum numbers apply (min 2 per tour for confirmed departure, min 4 on NZ public holidays). There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund
- Pick-ups available from central Queenstown accommodations.
- Quad Training: Riders must display ‘safe riding’ skills during the training phase of this tour. Don’t worry if this is you, we offer either a $50 dollar refund or our guides will drive you up to enjoy the epic views.

Best tour yet…! - One of the best tours I have done. So much fun, spectacular land to quad bike on(how good you beat the views) but what made it amazing was our guides. There was Benjamin, Hannah and Nikko and we split in two teams our safety practises and our family of 6 had Nikko- he was bloody fantastic. Everything was just fun and to finish it off with a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate and banana bread and biscuits. I would do it again and it’s a must to do. Thanks teams you made it fun x from the Horne Family

Great day high above Queenstown - Amazing day in Queenstown! The views from this ride are spectacular and you’ll get a rush from zipping around on the quad. Highly recommended!

ATV riding Queenstown - The Quad riding with Nomad Safari was great and loved the positive vibes from the crew. (Jif, Phibee and Greg) sorry if I misspelled the names, I didn’t see name tags and not sure if you had certain way of spelling it.
I’ve done ATV riding multiple times throughout Asia and just riding itself makes the adrenaline pumping as like to ride fast on certain areas of the trail.
What liked about the experience is:
1. if you have experience riding and want to ride faster than others, the instructors will spilt you guys into groups to make the ride better just so 1st timers can not feel pressured to ride fast.
2. The crew will set up you up with gear to protect yourself at all times.
3. You all will get a rundown/quick brief on riding the ATV which is a nice refresher and easy to learn for 1st timers then go through a practice run riding the ATV to get comfortable with it.
4. The view - when you get high into the mountains, you get a beautiful scenery of the mountains, town, lake etc.
5. The check-in/pickup/drop off were smooth. So issues.
The whole experience was a great experience and just love ATV riding. Thank you to the crew for being awesome and making the experience great.
(Just a side note that I had a little crush on Phibee because I thought she was attractive and cool).

Amazing quad bike adventure - We give Cam and Benjamin a huge thumbs up. Benjamin makes a mean banana cake!
Very clear instructions, training and ensured safety for all. Magical views, highly recommend. 5 stars.

Exhilarating experience - We had Benjamin and Sam as our guides/instructors. They were amazing and tailored to our group of 5s different riding abilities. The tracks were super fun and the view up the top was incredible. The banana cake was delicious and well earnt, great time to get our photo opportunity. Definitely would recommend to all our family and friends.

Awesome Quad Bike Experience Queenstown - The Nomad Safari Quad Bike Tour is a must when visiting Queenstown! The tracks up to the Queenstown Hill Summit are very fun and the views are incredible! Our tour guides Nico and Benjamin gave very clear instructions on how to use the quad bikes safely and ensured everyone on the tour had a great time! Will be back to do it again one day!

Highly recommend the quad bike tour - My adult children and I absolutely loved this experience, it was so much fun. Jordan was great, patient with us less experienced riders and very knowledgeable on the area. The views were beautiful, a drink stop to rest and soak in the views.
Definitely worth the money, and to do something memorable and different in the most spectacular location in NZ makes it very special.
