Milford Sound - It is a long day but I felt it was worth it. We were picked up by the coach, driven to Milford Sound, stopping along the way at some beautiful places, which broke up the journey. We got the boat to go around the Sound, which was beautiful, had lunch on the boat, the drove home, stopping once for a comfort break.

Brendan awesome tour guide - Highly recommend we had a great time, it is big day though. Lunch was great, exceeded my expectations but the biggest thing to note on was our coach driver - Brendan, top tier tour guide and gave us some extra stops due to being ahead of schedule, thanks for going above and beyond Brendan, the commentary (including the jokes) made it a day to remember. 10/10 only thing to fault was we had a passenger leave at Te Anau which in turn put us 30 mins behind schedule right at the end of the day which was a bummer but can’t control other people

A national treasurer and must see thing to do! - This is a must do scenic discovery to Milford Sound, it works very well for a solo traveller as well who wants to be a in a group but not feeling by themselves. Lots of people, things to see, necessities provided on the trip. Highly recommended for all travellers including families or small groups including couples.

Perfect day - The bus was absolutely a must with the glass ceiling. The boat was also amazing and very comfortable.

Beautiful Milford Sound but be prepared for a long rushed road trip - Milford Sound cruise is really beautiful but it’s good to understand what ti expect from this tour. You’ll basically leave around 8am sitting in a huge fully booked comfortable bus for 3hrs then stop for breakfast breakfast and then drive again while stopping for photos in a couple of places which aren’t the best spots for photos but are more convenient for this long bus to park, take the cruise around 2pm for less than 2 hrs (the cruise is awesome and the place is beautiful and the guides make nice commentary) they serve really bad lunch of extremely reheated pies (it’s like pies filled with chicken soup) with some snacks on board as lunch, honestly it was a very disappointing lunch for the price paid, and you need to eat and enjoy the scenery in 1:45hr. Then sit in the bus again for 4-5 hrs to Queenstown. The sound/fiords are beautiful and you should take one of these tours if you’re not driving, but keep your expectations realistic and make sure you eat breakfast at the stop and take snacks or lunch with you to the cruise and some entertainment for the long hours in the bus.

The tour is great… a long... - The tour is great… a long day of sitting on a bus with some stops. No complaints about that. We knew exactly what we signed up for and it didn’t disappoint or surprise us. The food, however, was very disappointing! I had read some comments about how disappointing the food was but it was still surprising to see it in person. They called it lunch and I was expecting at least a glass plate with some utensils (mind you we are paying $150+ USD). We got a little paper bag with a little plastic wrapped pie and a bag of chips (crisps… whatever they call them). I mean we didn’t book the tour for the lunch but if you are going to mention and advertise it, at least live up to some decent lunch thats not wrapped in a plastic wrap. Also, the timing of the lunch and instructions on when to have it need to be improved. We were outside the boat enjoying and soaking up the views (which is why we booked the tour) when they announced we were about to dock back. My friends and I look at each other and ask “wasn’t there supposed to be a lunch?” We get back inside and get handed the paper bag mentioned above. We gulped that plastic wrapped pie in 2 mins. It stood no chance. I went back to the counter for a coffee and the lady says “it’s too late”. All in all, good tour but I wish the food was better or cheaper and we would get our own lunch

Amazing view of the mountains and the fantastic falls - The view was amazing !!! It’s a great experience to see the falls and the sound was incredible!!! I will recommend this to anyone who wants to see the beautiful views of the mountains and the sound. It’s a whole day trip and it’s so worth it! The downside was the drop off was the problem because it ends in Te Anau. I was disappointed that I wasn’t drop off to where I was picked up. So this is my bad experience for me. The transportation going to Queenstown ends around 5ish. So make sure you know this ahead of time.

Great Location, you are better off on your own - Long drive and while the driver was amazing, lunch was average and the boat ride was a good experience you are better off driving if the weather conditions are optimal.
