But I'm so glad I went for it, jumping from 15,000 ft in the morning. Thank you to the Nzone team for the clear explanations at the counter and for assisting with the gear! Great and safe experience - Amazing! They were punctual, we got a ride in and out of the location (from the meeting point in Queenstown), they suited us relatively quickly, but did not skip over any safety points, and had an amazing jump from above the Remarkables. Highly recommend!

Don't Miss Your Chance! - We spent 3 weeks in NZ/Australia and my biggest regret is not joining my son a skydive with this operation. I tagged along as an observer and witnessed how well run the process was. It was beautifully organized, and the tandem divers had loads of experience (they had a video in the waiting area and it included how many dives they had completed). I'm not crazy about heights, but I would be confident in diving with them. There were all ages participating and everyone seemed to have a blast. My son had done a similar dive in Hawaii, but he said this was even better. We purchased the video option, and they did a great job. Best part was they sent a short edited version (maybe a minute long) that he could share without having to do any edits himself. If we ever return, my 60+ year old self will be joining in.

Don’t hesitate, GO for it! - It was just a 3 day runaway trip to Queenstown and I told myself ‘I will not fly out without skydiving.’ I booked it for the morning of the 3rd day-15000ft w/ videos and pics. As I checked in, the staff suggested a third person video for extra bucks, no second thoughts, why not? Unfortunately, before we were sent off to the DZ, words came that third person video was not available. I was a little disappointed. The Staff: From the shop to the DZ, they were all amazing. 🫡 Suiting up: I was suited up… overalls (I love the colour as it hugely contrasted with the surroundings), the harness (my life depends on it🙈), the gloves (I used my own though), the skull cap (great idea to keep hair flying all over the face of the tandem master, to keep the ears warm and most importantly, reduces discomfort as it helps with ear pressure regulation…does it?😀), safety goggles and what?…O2 mask? Really? ( is this an emergency prop? I wonder). Note: They got extra puffer jackets for those who needed extra warmth and closed shoes, too. How good is that? The Flight: We boarded the plane from last to first. I was #4 in the queue. As I sat, I noticed O2 tubings on the plane’s wall. I was just thinking it was for emergency cases, (like if I pass out due to nerves midflight🫣). It was when we reached an altitude of, i don’t know??? (Answer pls), that the mask was popped onto my face and connected to the O2 tubing. Wow, pre oxygenation. Lovely. (Was it really oxygen? I felt high when the mask was removed 😂. Just kidding.) The Jump: Ohhhh, the door was being pushed open. Here we go…each tandem after the other. The freefall cruise was exhilarant. Coming face to face with and falling with such speed towards the earth was just amazingly crazy. No altitude demons (nausea, ear pain, etc) ruining my freefall cruise. I just hate the facial warping coz it ruins the videos and photos😭With the parachute deployed, I became more relaxed (but the sudden turns still freaks me out). My tandem instructor made sure that I was at my utmost comfort as we drifted towards the earth unveiling its real beauty. The landing was so smooth. The feeling of the ground. I am back. Ecstatic I did it again. And will do it again. It was an exhilarating and entrancing experience. An emotional thrill floods me everytime I relive and share this experience and always put a smile on my face. I am proud of myself😀 This whole experience was made possible by NZONE and all the staff and most especially, with the expertise of my amazing tandem instructor, who hooked me up to his harness, shouldered the burden of my weight (I am heavyweight hahaha) and let me enjoy the best of skydiving…Shout out to SEAN! 🫡 I enjoyed every moment. Much appreciated. Embrace the fear, enjoy the view - Damn finally commit to my first skydive. If you wanna go for a skydive these people is definitely the best choice. They are professional, the handicam videos is great. I really enjoy the plane ride and of course the jump! The view u see while skydiving is crazy. Once in a lifetime experience. If u have already decided to do this I think Queenstown is the best city to do it.

Amazing scenery and experienced instructor - The instructors are quite experienced and the ground staff are very polite and courteous.The scenery that you get to experience during the fall is amazing! A must do activity in Queenstown.
