Queenstown - It doesn’t have to be a milestone in your lives to be the right time for couples photography. Any time is a good time to celebrate who you are as individuals and as a couple. Couples photo shoot in Queenstown is a great way to announce your engagement or to mark your anniversary.
During your photo session you will be guided by your local female photographer to a number of iconic locations capturing natural images with the jaw dropping scenery in the background. We will help you to relax, smile and laugh. All this will result in fantastic photographs having that natural look and feel. The goal is to make each image reflect the love and passion that the two of you share. These photos are more about creating a memory that is personal and meaningful to the two of you.
What time should we shoot?
The best time frame depends on sunrise and sunset which both can vary according to the season. Typically during the ‘golden hour’ is the best time, which is shortly after sunrise or before sunset. A soft light makes the skin look warmer rather than neutral or cold, and it helps to achieve beautiful photographs.

Everything a photographer should be :) - If you need a photographer on the south island around Queenstown and Wanaka, you can honestly stop looking - just go with Aiste!
Whether for a photo shoot or as a tour guide, I can't recommend her highly enough. Not only is she highly professional, well prepared and organised, easy to deal with, and provides great value for money, she's also a wonderful person to be around.
I've dealt with project managers on multi-million dollar projects that were less organised and less prepared for their jobs!
We first met Aiste when we undertook her guided astro photography tour in June 2021. We did a few photo tours with different guides, but she was so professional, easy to deal with, and committed to making sure we had a great experience (including staying late to teach us some great tips and tricks for post processing our shots with Lightroom) that when we later got married at Edgewater in Wanaka and needed a wedding photographer in the Queenstown / Wanaka / Arrowtown area (Otago region) she was our first choice, and a great choice it was!
She happily provided transport for us for our wedding shoot (and the earlier astro photography tour) in her luxury Range Rover. She took us to some of the most gorgeous hidden spots, places we never would have been or found on our own.
She has a very keen eye - her framing and composition are spot on, and her standards for herself and her work are very high, and she's a great photographer. It's clear that she really loves what she does, and is a great teacher too! I genuinely feel like we owe her more than she charged us both times we have hired her!

Amaaaazing photographer!! - We booked Aiste to do a family photoshoot in Queenstown, and what an amazing experience it was, this was our first ever family photoshoot with 4 children under 10 so as you can image we were all very nervous and did not know what to expect, and WOW, Aiste went above and beyond, she was so lovely and patient with my children and let them do their own thing, she also took us to some epic locations with breath taking views, we received our photos and I cried they were beautiful and we love them so much, I HIGHLY recommend Aiste as your next photographer you will not be dissapointed. Beautiful family photos - We contacted Aiste very last minute and she was so accommodating. She actually did a family session for us - my husband, me, and our kids ages 15, 12 and 10. Despite the unbelievable WIND, Aiste captured some gorgeous photos that literally took my breath away. She got some great posed and candid shots that really brought out the personalities of each of our children. She was excellent to work with, communicated quickly and was fun during the session. I highly recommend Aiste for your family Queenstown photo session!

Amazing memories - Me and my partner wanted to have a beautiful memory of our New Zealand adventure and we chose Aiste for a couples photoshoot. Aiste is a wonderful photographer and she took us to fantastic spots for our photoshoot. Me and my partner both had a good experience with her and would definitely recommend her for a photoshoot!

Couples photoshoot - Decided to treat my wife to a couple's photoshoot while we were celebrating our honeymoon. Aiste was absolutely terrific in her choice of location and the photos shared with us. Would like to highlight her dedication towards finding the perfect shot also.
