Get your pulse racing on an ATV adventure on Queenstown Hill! Riding a fully automatic, 400cc all-terrain vehicle (also known as a quad bike), you’ll follow trails to the hilltop for panoramic views over Queenstown. Comprehensive training is provided, along with safety equipment and clothing and transport from Queenstown. This small-group tour is limited to 11 people, ensuring you’ll enjoy personal attention from your guide.
- Minimum age is 16 years; 12 - 15 years old’s can ride as a guest with our instructor
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
- Minimum numbers apply (min 2 per tour for confirmed departure, min 4 on NZ public holidays). There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund
- Pick-ups available from central Queenstown accommodations.
- Quad Training: Riders must display ‘safe riding’ skills during the training phase of this tour. Don’t worry if this is you, we offer either a $50 dollar refund or our guides will drive you up to enjoy the epic views.

Awesome tour - Great company. They really looked after our safety. The ride was fantastic the views were amazing. Really easy going instructors who know the great spots. The little stop we had with a hot chocolate and banana cake was a bonus.

Awesome experience - This was an amazing experience! The tour was organised so well and the guides were so great going out of their way to split the more confident and the less confident couples up so no one was rushing or going too slow. Would definitely do this again

Fantastic experience - The experience was fantastic. The personnel do an amazing job showing how to maneuver along the steep rocky tracks beforehand and make sure you feel confortable to start. This adventures is meant for someone who loves adrenaline, that do not mind driving through some mud, edges, curvy roads, and enjoy awesome views. Benjamin, our tour leader, was really helpful and we enjoy and nice banana bread with some hot Mocha at our last stop.

Best activity - Omg we had the best time learning how to ride these quad bikes 🏍. The coaches was awesome in teaching us and really down to earth and paitent.
Riding up the mountain was honestly the most woow moments I've had. Not to mention the view going up and once we were up. It is honestly one of those once in a lifetime experiences.
My son was 13 so he couldn't ride his own quad but he had the best time sitting along one of the coaches quads.

Best day on a Quadbike! - A great adventure. Learn to ride and then set off to the mountain peak above Queenstown on a quad bike. Thanks to Cam for making it such a great day.

Fantastic day! - Such a fun experience!! I was a bit nervous at first but after practicing with everyone else on how to drive the ATVs, I felt super confident. I had such fun, the tour guides were great, and the views were fantastic!!

Even if you’re terrified, give it a go - We were picked up promptly and given a very thorough practical safety briefing to get a feel of the bikes. We split into two groups, one for more experienced riders and the other for those with little to no experience.
Benjamin was a very patient guide, taking care to check in regularly and adjusting speeds to accomodate different comfort levels. He made us feel safe and did not push anyone to do anything outside of their limit. I personally found the whole thing a bit scary and Benjamin went out of his way to make me feel at ease.
Even though the weather denied us some nice views, it was an overall enjoyable experience - it was fun to go fast, and we even got to see some sheep!

Great day on ATVs - They picked us up downtown and drove us up to the ATV base. Great instruction with some good humor and solid advice. We got out on the trails after and had a great time. Lots of dust and lots of fun.

Great fun and worth the money - The guys Dan and Mike were really lovely and good fun. They ensured we were fully capable by doing some initial skill tests before taking us up the mountain. I'd highly recommend. It was definitely my favourite adventure in QT above Paragliding and the Nevis Swing.
