Skippers Canyon - It was a breathtaking tour better than Milford Sound!!!
The guide was first rate!!! Couldn’t get a better guide.

Loving Skippers Canyon - We didn’t know what to expect, but right from the get-go our tour guide explained exactly what we would be doing. An Exhilarating experience driving on cliffs edge through the canyon. Detailed descriptions of the canyon and surrounding areas as well as historical information provided us with a solid understanding of The area. Extremely friendly tour guide with vast Knowledge and keen driving skills

Perfect afternoon! - Friendly, transparent, professional - amazing day out!
Great team, great communication from confirmation email to drop off in town.
Appreciate the fact that they were up front with changes to the trip required by weather/road conditions beyond anyone’s control - changes that made the trip even better!
Perfectly executed trip with the right mix of conversation/information to make the drive fun and informative.

Skipper Canyon 4WD tour was the best!!! - It was winter wonderland! So beautiful. We were lucky enough to have had powede to play in. Our tour guide Jenny was incredible. Very knowledgeable about the area around us.
Herr driving was impeccable. I highly rate this tour with Jenny as your tour guide.

Skipper Canyon 4WD tour was the best! - This was an incredible tour! The views were spectacular and there was so much snow which we were not expecting. It seriously was a white wonderland! We were so very lucky to get Jenny as our tour guide. Jenny was so amazing and really knowledgeable about the areas we visited. She was extremely careful and drove very safely in some hairy situations. I recommend this tour with Jenny as your tour guide 100%

Journey through Skippers - Wonderful experience enjoyed despite the rain and overcast conditions. Our driver and guide Justin provided excellent compelling commentary on his roots and passion for the history of Queenstown and Skippers Canyon. Our journey was cut short due to treacherous conditions on the canyon road but Justin was good enough to take us on some exciting river crossings in the Arrow River.

One of the best tour companies ever! - My family and I had a memorable tour of Skippers Canyon with our fantastic guide, Justin!
The Canyon Road is not for the faint of heart. However, our guide, Justin, was excellent; he was a skilled driver, highly knowledgeable, and a great conversationalist.
We highly recommend Nomad Safaris, and moreover, Justin as a guide.
Thanks for making our family trip to Queenstown so memorable!

A great afternoon was had at Skippers Canyon! - The friendly staff at isite Queenstown assisted me with my "must do" list on my recent visit. They also recommended the Nomad Safaris Skippers Canyon 4WD tour. Adrian was an excellent driver and guide on this small group afternoon tour. The scenery is spectacular and the road was not as hairy as some people had told me. I would definitely recommend this tour if you are visiting Queenstown.

Avoid at all cost - Avoid at all cost. They decided to change the tour pick up location on me last minute. Inly reason I booked this tour is because they pick up from my hotel.
I understand things happen so they could’ve let me know beforehand and not wait until the cancellation window had passed. I didn’t agree to be picked up from some random location and had no car and since I got back to my hotel very late after another tour it was too late for me to arrange for transport.
If the cancellation window passed and they need to change the pick up location a decent, reputable tour company would at least be flexible and issue a refund given my situation.
But not these crooks. They decided to keep my money. I am reporting this as fraud to my credit card company.
I contacted Viator right away and they said they’ll refund. But the next day they came back and said no. So that’s also another no no to book through visitor because of something does go wrong they take no responsibility.
Ruined my whole day as it was too last minute to book with someone else.
Stay away from these crooks.
