Fun experience at Manuel Antonio - We booked a guide through Viator. Our guide Bryan was very friendly and knowledgeable about the amazing plants and creatures of the park. We probably would have missed half of the animals sightings walking on our own.

Get this tour! - We really enjoyed our tour. Our guide, Fabio, was very knowledgeable, kind and obviously passioned about the natural wonders of Costa Rica. The pace was relaxed and we never felt rushed. We were fortunate to be in a small group of only 2 couples, and to also have great weather for mid June. We had the 7.30 AM on a Sunday, and it was still crowded at times, especially since many groups we encountered were very large. We saw several sloths, howler and white face monkeys, frogs, lizards, hummingbirds and more. We probably wouldn’t have spotted most of these creatures without Fabio’s help. At the end, he shared with us all of the awesome pics he took during the tour. We strongly recommend Fabio and this guided tour.

Awesome Beach and Animal Tour - Our tour guide was awesome and worked to ensure we got to see a variety of animals including crabs, snakes, birds, monkeys, and lizards. It was nice to have Jason take the photos and then share them with our group. If you are interested in doing something specializing in bird watching then Jason would be an awesome guide. The beach was great and we were able to see monkeys and lizards around the shore. There is a good walk back to the entrance, but it is flat. Just know you have a 15 minute walk back after swimming.

I’d 100% Use Them Again - We had a great time and got to see a lot of things we would have missed if we didn’t have a guide. I love that if you have an iPhone the guide will Airdop all the photos to you that were taken through his scope. I’ve always gotten so obsessed with taking pictures that I rarely just get to enjoy the tour.

Best Manuel Antonio National Park Experience - During our visit to Manuel Antonio, Lurdes, our knowledgeable guide, crafted an exceptional experience, revealing animals we wouldn't have spotted without her and offering insights that ensured seamless exploration. The journey was both educational and enjoyable, fostering a deeper appreciation for the beauty of Manuel Antonio. We encountered the Common Basilisk, Common Tan Making Bat, Iguana, Common Pauraque, Squirrel Monkey, White-Faced Monkey, Howling Monkey, and Sloth – an incredible array! The tour concluded on the beach, the most beautiful I've seen, with crystal-clear water and fine sand creating a breathtaking sight. Keep your bags closed, as monkeys may try to snag something. While there are a few more hiking trails we didn't have time to explore, we plan to return for that experience. Additionally, we received detailed instructions on what to bring, how to get to the place, where to park the car, etc. Note that you must purchase a separate ticket for the park itself, and the entrance time doesn't have to align with the tour start. Wakoo Tours has a special agreement with the park. I recommend contacting them with any questions before purchasing park entry tickets. Don't forget to bring a reusable water bottle; there are water stations inside the park allowing you to refill during the tour. It's advisable to eat beforehand since bringing food isn't allowed, and food options inside the park are limited. Of course, bring a swimsuit and sunscreen—you don't want to miss the opportunity to enjoy the beach inside the park. Highly recommend this guided tour for a fulfilling and enriching adventure!

Worth the price! - Jason was a capable guide. He pointed out all 4 species of monkeys, sloths, a brown tree snake eating a lizard, and a coati. But he promised to send me a Google link to his photos from our trip, and he never did! Bummer.

Manuel Antonio Nat Park, worth the trip! - Our guide, Jason, was the best! He was entertaining, very knowledgeable about the park and Costa Rica, polite and courteous. Provided very detailed instructions to get to the park. We enjoyed seeing the sloth + baby, 4 different types of monkeys, iguanas, Coatimundi, frogs and birds. The walk was long (2 hrs) and hot on a stone road with occasional water breaks and a few benches to sit on with opportunity to buy lunch near the end. The trail was somewhat crowded between 8 and 10 am on a Thursday in early March, but not overly so. At the end we spent another hour or so swimming on the beach before hiking back.
