Sloths and monkeys everywhere! - Carla was the best tour guide I have had on any tour I have booked through Viator around the world. She was patient with the kids and thorough as she ensured we saw sloths, monkeys, crabs, colorful spiders, and all forms of vegetation and plants. She also used her telephoto lens to zoom in and helped us take amazing photos. An unexpected highlight of the walk was the chance to swim in the ocean on a spectacular and secluded beach. Great fun for all ages

Great visit to Manuel Antonio Park - We visited Manuel Antonio park with Jeremy. He was a fantastic guide, perfect English, great knowledge, was amazing at spotting wildlife, friendly and enthusiastic. He spotted a vine snake, 5 sloths, toucans and lots more. It was our best guided walk in Costa Rica. The organisation of the trip was efficient. We were a family of four adults, youngest aged 21.

Tour of ManualAntonio National Oark - excellent - Karla Alvarado was our wonderful guide for this tour. Karla’s bubbly energy is infectious and we all had a really great time on the tour. Her specialist knowledge of local animals and plants is excellent. She spotted so many animals for us, she’s great at focusing her telescope very quickly and brilliant at taking photos for us using her telescope.
The tour was around 4-5 hours long, we saw 3 types of monkeys, lizards, different birds, all sorts of insects and crabs. Then we swam and enjoyed the gorgeous warm Pacific Ocean for around an hour before walking along both sides of the Tombolo.
The driver was there waiting when we came out of the park once we were out of the local streets which Karla whisked us through quickly and easily. The fruit, snacks and ice tea were very welcome.
Great morning tour - thank you Karla

Brenda was the Best!! - We went on the Manual Antonio hiking tour on August 18 2024. It was fantastic! Our guide Brenda did such a great job of pointing out animals that were camouflaged in the rainforest that we would never found on our own. Adult 2 and 3 toed sloths and a young sloth newly on its own. We saw all 3 types of monkeys native to Costa Rica as well. Also colorful toucans and other native birds and animals. Brenda was so knowledgeable of the nature, plants, animals and history. Her information was so helpful! She took photos for us through her lenses that will provide us with wonderful memories! She was so kind and also professional at the same time. The hike was a highlight of our vacation to Costa Rica! If you have a chance to do this tour while in Costa Rica - don't hesitate - GO! and ask for Brenda!

Awesome experience with Alberto and Esteban - We had a great experience with Alberto and Esteban. Alberto is a great guy who’s very knowledgeable and passionate about wildlife. He also has a great attitude and made us feel very comfortable. We also did the Esquipulas bird watching tour with them and it was an incredible experience. We spotted more than 60 species given Alberto’s skills. We highly recommend working with them.

Excellent tour with Jeremy - Excellent tour. Jeremy was a great guide. We saw beautiful interesting birds, sloths, monkeys, bats, insects, crabs. Lizards, iguanas, deer, a beautiful beach and more. Jeremy saw things and showed them to us through his spotting scope or through his connected iPhone that we never would have seen. Very informative, pleasant, and responsive. The MA Natl Park is popular and crowded. recommend going as early in the day as possible even if you have to bring breakfast with you.

Day tour Manuel Antonio NP - Sloth alarm with top guide and highlight of my Costa Rica trip - Even before the tour, the team helped me get there and find my accommodation and also helped me pay the national park fee because my credit card wouldn't work. The pickup from my accommodation worked perfectly, last in first out. The guide Jeremy was just great! Super funny, very competent, always kept us informed about the next step and made all our wishes come true by finding the animals out of nowhere, showing them to us through the telescope and even taking pictures that he later shared with us for free. Top service through and through! We saw so many animals, the macaws greeted us on the way to the entrance of the national park, the howler monkeys greeted us at the gate of the NP entrance and the white-headed monkeys made their exit on the beach in Manuel Antonio. The food was outstanding with a great, extensive breakfast and lunch buffet with local delicacies and hot coffee in the Tucanes headquarters. A wonderful day! And seeing the sloth babies was the absolute highlight of my Costa Rica trip. A very nice group too, great day, absolutely a success! I can really recommend Tucanes 200%, customer service, competence and satisfaction are very important here. Keep it up and here's to many happy customers :-)

Lots of explanation and fantastic photos! - Alberto showed us all the animals with great knowledge and enthusiasm and takes fantastic photos that he shares with you; that saves a lot of your own failed photos. Nice change on the beach for a swim and to cool off.
