Great experience, and beach not to be missed! - Very beautiful park, well laid out, full of possible routes thanks to trails. We had reserved our entries for 7 a.m., no problem parking at this early hour, we went to the end of the road, to the last parking lot, and we paid 4000 colons for the day. We were practically the first to enter the park, so we were able to fully enjoy it, without too many people, and without being too hot. We had brought a water bottle, because it is forbidden to bring in water bottles, but it is possible to buy them inside the park. We stayed there for 4 hours, because in addition to the walks, we took advantage of the magnificent beaches for a swim. There are showers at the end of the beach, toilets also. Everything is planned. A refreshment bar and gift shop in the park are also present. We were lucky enough to see a lot of animals without taking a guide. A lot of patience, spotting crowds and luck allowed us to see monkeys, sloths and even a doe and her fawn among others!

Amazing experience. - Our guide William was GREAT!!! It was very impressive how he was able to point out the animals - sloths, iguanas, jesus lizard, sleeping frogs, dragonflies, and more. We wouldn't have been able to see many of them without his expert eyes.

Kudos to Guide Randy Rivera - I just wanted to say that Randy Rivera, one of the Certified Guides was super helpful to us - we had gotten tickets for the wrong day, tried to go to the park to fix it and Randy saw us trying to figure thing out, stepped in and helped us find the right person to talk to. Great service! And he is a great guide, personable and knowledgeable. Definitely the best plan to get a guide, you see SO much more than you would on your own!

Excellent tour-lots of animals. Go early. - Our guide was local and very focused on what we wanted to see. We saw 3 sloths with babies ( both 3 &2 toed), monkeys ( howler & capuchin), bats, iguanas, basilisks, turtles, tree frogs, hermit crabs, birds, butterflies, dragon flies, and much more. He took photos with our phone thru the telescope so wd have wonderful close up pics.

Between Touring Yourself or Hiring a Guide - HIRE THE GUIDE! - Our group originally went into the National Park with every intention of just doing the walking tour on our own. Instead we decided to go with a guide (thank you Randy Rivera for the suggestion!) and we saw more than we ever would have without a guide - it's incredible what is in this park and I promise there are a ton of things that you will miss if you do NOT go with a guide! They have telescopes they bring along with and are so knowledgeable on what they are looking for and about the animals themselves. I highly recommend making your way to the actual National Park and they will direct you were to park right outside of the park. So many other touring places try to get you to park before you get there but these Manuel Antonio National Park Tours "Certified Guides" are the real deal. Thanks again, Randy!

Fantastic tour of the National Park - We really enjoyed our tour of Manuel Antonio National Park with our guide, Josue. Josue was informative, entertaining, and very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna. We had not walked 50 feet into the park when we Josue spotted a two toed sloth in the trees. Not long afterward he spied a three toed sloth just off the path and we were able to get some great pictures. We saw a variety of animals and even saw a few-de-lance, the most poisonous snake in the Americas! Joseu recounted how the park came to be and allowed plenty of time for us to just gawk and be amazed. Thank you Joseu! After the tour we went for a swim at a beautiful beach where pats of Castaway (Tom Hanks) was filmed. While we were in the water a lady told us that everyone was getting out the water at the other end of the beach because a crocodile was in the water! We got out and walked down to see it and, believe it or not, a four foot crocodile was lazily swimming just off the beach! It didn't appear to be aggressive but we finished our swimming a bit early. We would highly recommend the Manuel Antonio National Park Tour. Ask for Josue, he was phenomenal!

Okay tour with too many people - Tour guide was okay but there were too many people on the tour and in the park. Also, lots of confusion about whether the tour included park entry.
