- Manuel Antonio National Park - Our 3-hour guided tour starts with a brief overview of the facilities, trails, and beach areas we will explore. Recommendations will be tailored based on the season and the type of group attending the tour.
As previously mentioned, we will conduct the tour in the opposite direction (anti-clockwise) of the standard operators and guides. This approach allows us to walk with fewer people and less noise, focusing on the essence of the tour: observing local wildlife, learning about iconic tropical species, and, if possible, capturing great photos or videos.
Commonly spotted species include both types of sloths, monkeys, bats, agoutis, tree frogs, toucans, and even snakes.
- Playa Espadilla Sur - Since our tour follows the opposite direction, this will be the first beach you encounter, located at the end of the elevated boardwalk or Sendero Universal El Manglar. During the dry season (January to May), the waves at Playa Espadilla Sur can be very calm, but they can become rough with a strong “Backwash” on the steeper beach sandbars. Keep an eye out for sea turtle tracks on the beach, and if you’re fortunate, you might see baby sea turtles emerging from their nests. Showers and bathrooms are available for your convenience.
- Playa Manuel Antonio - Known as one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica, Manuel Antonio Beach offers a stunning contrast of green, white, and blue, where the forest meets the beach and the ocean. It’s perfect for swimming with family members, older adults, or children. Showers and bathrooms are available for your convenience.
