We had a good time, and it was worth the price. - It was a nice trip. Kind of a long drive in the shuttle van, but the area was nice. It was fun to ride horses along a river and up a bit of a climb to the waterfall area. Be warned the water and mud will splash up onto your legs and shoes, so don’t wear your nicest shoes. The guide was very friendly and seemed genuinely interested in sharing his knowledge of the area and of the horses. There were several small waterfalls, but nothing spectacular. You can take pictures at one and then hike up a few minutes to two others to hop in for a quick dip in the water. The pools are small so you can’t really swim. It’s more of just standing in the water to cool off and take pictures. After you return they’ll serve a basic lunch. All in all, it was a good trip and worth the price.

Natural habitat ride - We had an inspiring visit to Roberto's property, the surroundings, & the superb waterfall trail. The sun shone throughout, the ambience was tranquil & relaxing. As experienced horse riders we found the horses to be on 'automatic pilot', they knew exactly where to go & the cautious speed required for navigating the river ride. My partner led the trail on his clever horse, but the whole trail was ridden at a slow walk, the horses don't trot! So, we just had to go with the steady flow & enjoy our surroundings as we rode mainly along the river course. The other three riders had never ridden before, hence the steady & safe ride. The horses (14.2hh & under) were typically of Costa Rican pony type, lean & docile!

Worth it - Riding through the rainforest on horseback was an incredible experience. So quiet and peaceful. Ilberto was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly. He knows his horses and the rainforest so well and made us feel safe in this exotic place. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

10/10 Experience - My sister and I had a great time with Roberto on his ranch. We drank fresh sugarcane juice, rode his horses up to the falls, swam, and ate a home cooked dinner afterwards. It was a priceless experience and we would definitely do it again! Highly recommend!

More ride less talking - This was a nice experience but the Horseback riding wasn't has long as I thought it be. The guide wss telling us about local herbs etc. Before the ride. I didn't understand why. The meal provided at the end was very good and filling. The guide had very broken English which made it hard to understand.

Unexciting - The people were pleasant and the horses well cared for, but the ride was boring. We just plodded along a dirt road. It was very hot so the dip in the waterfall was nice but it is a very little waterfall and not a deep pool.
