Great experience followed by an amazing lunch! - My family and I have done many different zip lines around the word. This one was very organized and the guides were very focused on the safety of the participants. The tour ended with an amazing Costa Rican lunch. We would highly recommend this tour.

A wonderful time for the whole family, even in the rain! - Our family of three, including our 7 year old, had a wonderful time with El Santuario, even though we ziplined in the rain. We booked the 8am tour hoping we would finish before the rain came, but it ended up being the only day with a rainy morning during our whole visit. We were picked up at our vacation rental, taken to the office where we paid the balance, and driven back into the mountains. There, they had coffee and water and bathrooms for us to use before we headed out. We were able to leave our personal belongings in a box that they locked while we were out. The operation felt very safe - the equipment was all in great condition and the safety briefing was clear. They provided water and fruit at various stations throughout the tour, which includes hanging bridges, ziplines, and ends with a rappel back to ground level. Our 7 yo was nervous about zip lining - we knew she would need to ride with the guides on some of the longer lines, but she asked if she could ride with a guide the entire time. They said yes, but after the first couple lines, she was begging to ride on her own (and did for the lines she was able to). The guides were very patient with her and put her (and us) at ease. She said it was the highlight of her trip! My husband and I have zip lined before, and this was a great time, although we felt our group was a little bigger than we've had in the past so we felt a little rushed. A few other details - the included lunch after was delicious and hit the spot. They have a photographer who takes your pictures before you start, on the longest line, on a platform, and as you rappel - if you book through their website, the photos are included (and wonderful!), otherwise you have to pay for them. Apply sunscreen and bug repellent before you start the tour - you can't apply it once you're in the harness for safety reasons. If you're zipping in the rain, don't wear your nicest clothes - ours ended up covered in mud that we couldn't fully get out. Last, the driver who picked us up and returned us was wonderful. At one point on the drive back, he spotted a sloth in a tree, and very patiently pulled over the van so we could all see it. Overall a wonderful time from start to finish that we would do again!

A wonderful tour rain or shine - Joseph, our guide was superb, personable and knowledgeable. We could not have designed a better individual for this tour and he ate lunch with us, spent time reviewing the agriculture and terrain around Costa Rica.

So Much Fun! - The zip lines were awesome. I would highly recommend it. Provided lunch was also very good. We were with a pretty large group, they had plenty of guides along to keep everyone moving so you didn't have to wait long to go from one spot to the next. The longest zip line is awesome and you get some good views, that was one of my favorite ones.

Must Do Zip-line in Costa Rica - Our party of 10 people went on the zip line on Aug 12, 2024. We had a great, fantastic time!!! If I could give them 10 stars I would. The zip line rides were spectacular with high speeds and beautiful scenery. Their braking system made stopping easy with no effort on the riders part. This is a top-notch operation from getting picked up and dropped off at the hotel, quick and easy paperwork to sign the waivers, getting to the location, explanations about everything, including demos. They got our party and about 10 more people strapped in their harnesses, gave us helmets and gloves and off we went. The guides during the experience were fantastic!! They always made us feel safe. We were always hooked up to a safety line or one of the guides. There were 2 little girls that the guides took extra care of. They were nervous at the beginning but at the end they were smiling. They had water and paper cups at several of the stations and they had cut up fruit at the half-way point and it was very refreshing. The guides were very efficient at hooking and unhooking us. The layout of the ziplines and bridges and other areas that got us higher is thoughtfully laid out so as not to wear you out. The “rappelling” is at the end and it’s where they have 2 lines attached to you and they lower you down and you get your picture taken, along with lots of other times when you’re picture is being taken and you don’t know it. After the zip line fun is over, it’s lunchtime and the food is wonderful. Tasty, authentic Costa Rican meal (chicken, rice, black beans, salad, fried plantain). Before you eat you can go to the bathroom in clean, modern toilets and wash your hands with soap and water and dry them off with paper towels. I’ve been ziplining lots of places, mostly outside the United States and this place takes the cake. You will not be disappointed. This was a fantastic experience, from beginning to end. Pura Vida!!! (look it up 🙂🙂)

Great zip lining experience - This was my first real zip lining experience. (I’d done short zip lines much closer to the ground before). I was impressed at the safety measures and hospitality of the team. They were all very reassuring and made sure we were comfortable throughout the tour. Highly recommended, will definitely return.
