- Manuel Antonio National Park - Your Herpetological adventure is designed to seriously explore the surroundings areas of Manuel Antonio National Park and Quepos with the intentions of finding every local species of reptiles and amphibians. We will spend the entire 3 hours researching at Playa Espadilla Hotel Private Nature Reserve for mostly Viper Snakes (Fer-de-Lance and Eye-Lash Pit Vipers), colorful Tree Frogs (Red-eyed Tree Frogs, Masked Tree Frogs, Gladiator Tree Frogs) or any other interesting herpetological species. We will provide rubber boots, professional snake hooks, powerful flashlights and bottled water for the hike.
- Round-trip transportation included and customizable, parking available if you drive to the place.

We will be sure to dedicate full time to searching and exploring the best areas, to ensure we find the species that make Costa Rica a great herpetology destination.
We suggest you contact us before the tour and share any specific goals or species requests you have in mind. We will prioritize any special requests first and then find the tour’s famous icons, such as the red-eyed tree frog (Agalychnis callidryas), the turnip-tailed gecko (Thecadactylus rapicauda), the granular glass frog (Cochranella granulosa), the eyelash viper. (Bothriechis sp)
- Wear light, breathable, and comfortable clothes, light cotton T-shirt and pants are ideal for the tour (Long sleeve shirts are not necessary)
- It is mandatory to wear closed-toe shoes (tennis or hiking boots) to participate in the tour.
