Great catamaran cruise - We didn’t know what exactly to expect but this boat tour totally exceeded our expectations. Great staff, friendly, and very safety conscious. The food and drinks were good but the highlights included the pod of dolphins that swam alongside us for about 15 minutes and the great views of land, mountains, islands and sunset. We’re in our 60s and quite a bit older than most of the crowd on this cruise. Still we all had a great time together. We hit the water slide into the ocean water and also spent time snorkeling. Lots to like about this professional crew and this clean modern catamaran. And there’s so much to enjoy about a scenic cruise along the Costa Rican coastline.

Manuel Antonio's best catamaran - The crew is more than excellent, the food was very good, the whole tour was amazing... We celebrate my mom's 50th birthday and the super-targeted crew... Really very grateful for the beautiful experience they provide.

Family bonding at its best - The catamaran was spotlessly clean and had ample seating for all the guests onboard. We saw whales soon after we left the harbor and the rest of the views of the coastline were breathtaking! We anchored near Manuel Antonio National Park and were able to swim, snorkel, jump off the top of the boat and use the slides. The meal was a home cooked local cuisine and the included drink had everyone feeling festive. A great experience for our entire family.

Nice tour, very enjoyed! - Super recommended the tour, we went on weekdays, the super good attention, the very complete tour, we were lucky enough to see a whale and her baby, the very nice music, the super rich lunch, the cleaning of the catamaran I loved, 10 out of 10.

First Class Catamaran Excursion Staff/Crew are Amazing! - I had booked the catamaran day of my husband's 50th birthday for our group of 14. This tour was the highlight of our day. A local bakery had delivered a chocolate peanut butter cake to the catamaran. Once on board the staff/crew were ready to take care of us. As we made our way to the top of the catamaran, the bartenders were right there to get drink orders. We got to see whales and dolphins on our beautiful scenic drive. We spent the morning jumping, flipping, water sliding off the boat and swimming in the warm water. The drinks flowing and lunch were killer! Once we arrived back to the marina, the crew left us stay on the catamaran, while everyone got off. They brought out the cake and we all sang happy birthday. We all cannot say enough about this experience! The staff/crew were first class!! We cannot wait to do it again. We highly recommend this excursion it was truly a magical experience. Pura Vida!

Fantastic! - This is a fantastic trip! Collected from your hotel, taken to the boat which is so clean and well maintained, all staff are so helpful and so friendly always making sure you’re ok. Snacks, drinks and a nice (big!) lunch included. We saw whales and dolphins - the boat is careful not to get too close or stay for too long, they respect the animals. Stop for swimming and can use the slides and jump from the top. A great trip - would highly recommend!

Excellent trip, highlight was the whales! - Absolutely excellent from start to finish! We were picked up from our hotel but a very jolly chap. Boarded the Catamaran by 9.30am, four drinks included and it’s waiter service if you’d like. We saw a number of whales which was amazing, the best part was that they did not chase the whales, I’ve been on a lot of trips before and they hounded the wildlife. This was done with grace and care, clearly love their whales. A good stop for a swim, slide, jump and snorkel. A nice lunch with rice, pasta, veggies and fish. The service was excellent; the crew very happy and helpful. Would throughly recommend.

Great Last Minute Family Day on the Water! - We originally booked with Planet Dolphin Catamaran because we thought their boat would have a few less people. However, they cancelled on us last-minute. So I reached out to Ocean King via WhatsApp, and they responded immediately confirming our spot for the very next day. Price was great, and they picked us up from our hotel. We got on the boat, which probably holds around 175+, but it wasn't crowded at all. Possibly due to this being the lower season, but there were probably 75-100 people on board. This was perfect. There were plenty of people to mix with and make friends, but never some many that it felt crowded at all. Plenty of seating in the shade or the sun. They played music, but not so loud that it felt like a party boat. All the staff were very friendly, and they kept out drinks filled all day. Good chicken and fish for lunch. We saw several humpback whales and dolphins. My only wish was that we stayed at the swimming/sliding/jumping/snorkeling/lunch spot a little longer. 1 hour was not quite long enough. Overall, a great day on the water with the family, and we will book it first if we're every in Costa Rica again.

Disappointing, Rushed, Inedible "fish" - This tour was to include time for snorkeling, swimming, jumping off of the catamaran, and going down the slides. While it was not ideal water for snorkeling, that is what I (and many others) chose to do. I was provided child size fins that made it extremely difficult to swim out to the area where one could hope to see sea life. I finally made it out there and was able to view one or two types of fish. Someone picked up a small starfish and showed it to others. After less than 5 minutes around the coral formation where the water was more clear and viewing these things was possible, the accompanying staff member yelled at everyone to return to the boat. Service of lunch followed, which consisted of “fish”, rice, veggies, pasta, tortilla chips. I cannot speak about the rice and pasta as I did not have any but the “fish” did not look like fish nor did it taste like fish. It looked more like chicken or pork and also had a meat consistency. It was dry and did not taste good. I honestly could not identify the meat nor the “fish” I could be eating. I am normally a person to clean my plate, but I left half of this behind. The tortilla chips were somewhat stale, also. The lunch was quite disappointing. I have been to Costa Rica many times, always staying three weeks and going on multiple excursions, and this is by far the worst food I’ve ever been served on any excursion or in any restaurant. Further, the drinks were terrible. The mixes available were disgusting and I could not enjoy them. Additionally, this is the only snorkeling event with such little time allowed for it and inappropriate equipment being supplied. Of note, there were regular adult sized fins available, and the staff chose not to provide them to me even after I voiced the observation that the fins they handed me were for children or inappropriate. I snorkel frequently on my own in the States and I own my own snorkeling and scuba diving equipment--- I KNOW what they provided was inappropriate and this was upsetting as well as made it quite difficult to swim out to the snorkeling spot. Overall, I felt they rushed this entire “tour”. I was picked up at my hotel shortly after 8 am, we picked up more people on the way to the marina, then we departed the marina at approximately 9:30 am (being generous with the time here). I literally was BACK AT MY HOTEL by 12:30 pm, and this was after dropping multiple people off at hotels before me (I was the last hotel drop). This excursion was rushed and I feel people did not receive the value they paid for. I did not even get the chance to drink the four beverages included in the excursion due to LACK OF TIME. I am very disappointed. They must have started using nasty drink mixes and different cooks since the reviews raving about the delicious drinks and meal!!
