- My goal is for you to feel at ease and self-assured, so that when you catch your first wave, you’ll truly grasp the exhilarating sensation of surfing!

Amazing day - Had the best time with my family going to Tony’s surf school. He was nice, funny, and attentive. It was the best day! Highly recommend!

Your Manuel Antonio trip is incomplete without a a lesson from tony! - Tony is absolutely amazing. I’ve always been a little afraid of the ocean so I was unsure about trying surfing. Tony made me feel super safe in the water. He also made the lesson really fun and made me believe in myself I can do it. His passion and energy for surfing and life is unmatchable. You can’t go to Manuel Antonio and not try a lesson with tony!

Definitely recommend for your first surf lesson! :) - Tony took really good care of my friend and I for the lesson today (Dec 18)! He helped us find parking at the beach. Good vibes throughout the entire interaction. Communication through WhatsApp to coordinate the lesson was clear and warm. We had big blue chairs to lounge in and leave our stuff on. The surf lesson was awesome. My friend had a blast and caught several waves for her first time surfing. The sunset is unreal at this beach. Would definitely recommend Tony's Surf School!

First Surf Classes - They Were Awesome! - I absolutely loved my surf lessons with Tony!!! He is so helpful, patient and friendly, and I felt safe the whole time. I had never surfed before, and I’m so glad my first 2 times were with Tony - they were both amazing experiences.

Tony Time - This is the second time meeting Tony and he always makes the trip special. This time we experienced baby sea turtle release with only 15 others in remote area. Unbelievable!
Later in the week went to Manuel Antonio for daughter's bday and he set up cabana and chairs decorated with palm and flowers. Full service all day made for another great day!

Best day ever in Costa Rica! - Tony went out of his way to make our experience special. Not only is he a fabulous surf instructor but, having grown up in Costa Rica, he taught us so much about the country, its history and the environment. He offered to extend our day with tours to water falls and places my son could jump from rocks into natural spring water pools. It was absolutely awesome! Could not recommend Tony more - warm, friendly, energetic and so much fun. He so clearly loves what he does.
