Mauricio , Jonathan, Charlie, and Jason a massive shout out for their professional work, encouragement, and positive pu - Because I recently sprained my ankle, I hesitated to do the rafting, as it requires one to lean in, squat, and put a bit of weight on lower body. There was a moment, where I kept feeling an uncomfortable pinch on my ankle and I disclosed it to Jonathan. Jonathan pulled over our boat raft and he checked in to see how I was doing. I disclosed that there was too much pressure on my left ankle and he gave me options to either finish the course in a safe location or reset my seating position on a different area of the boat raft. At this point, the whole team was easy going and encouraging to take it easy and they were willing to wait. I mean, it was like having a band of brothers looking out for a younger sister. That itself encouraged me to keep going and opt to sit on a different side of the raft boat as instructed by Jonathan. Because I sat in a different area of the boat raft and positioned myself for weight to go onto the right leg area, I was able to finish the rafting. I’m not one to write reviews. However, I have to write this review for anyone who hesitates in wanting to do this type of recreational activity and also to give Mauricio , Jonathan, Charlie, and Jason a massive shout out for their professional work, encouragement, and positive pura vida energy. White Water Rafting - Great experience. Josue was a great guide, funny and entertaining. The waterfall we stopped at was beautiful

Rafting Spectacular - What a great experience. The rafting was spectacular and the guides so friendly and knowledgeable. Luis was very helpful with his training and knowledge and JC was our raft guide and he made it very fun for all of us. We stopped at a beautiful waterfall and ate fresh pineapple. And don’t forget Charlie our driver. Oh my gosh how he maneuvered that bus through those roads was skillful. Loved it!

Family fun and great guides! - This was our second white water rafting trip with iguana tours and like the first, it did not disappoint! The lunch after the river was delicious. The guides are great at what they do. I have to name one specifically, Luis. He was so good with my kids and making them feel safe and have a ton of fun on the river. Thank you Luis and Iguana tours for a great day!

Iguana Tours top notch - Excellent tour and ride on a beautiful river! The guides were top notch. The breakfast part of the package is not necessary and wastes time it only needs to be just over a half day excursion but other than that 8/10

Amazing experience - We joined the friendly, extremely serious and entirely trustworthy crew of Iguana Tours for our first rafting experience. We were a family of 5 - two adults, one young adult and two twelve year olds, and were paired with the amazing J.C., who was extremely attentive and very friendly while remaining serious and making sure we were all safe and aware of what we needed to do. We couldn't feel more safe and taken care of. I recommend iguana tours, without a doubt.

River rafting is a must in Costa Rica - Awesome experience with a Cat 3+ river rafting. Luis, Mau, and Juan were our outstanding guides, they made every effort to make sure we were all having a great time. It was all of our first time doing it and we can’t wait to do it again. We felt safe and definitely had a lot of fun!

The best rafting trip out of 5 we have done in the States. - What an amazing experience. A lot of rapids. Our guide Alvarado, I called him “Al”, was top notch. He explained everything in a fun way. We learned so much. The guides were very competent and took our safety very seriously. We were able to relax and have fun because we could trust them. The scenery was beautiful.

Great guides, great trips. Thanks for everything. - The rafting team were brilliant. They were very safety conscious but once on the way they made it great fun. Lots of chances to swim and a beautiful waterfall to visit during the trip. We did other tours with them too and were impressed by their guides and organisation everywhere. Excellent outfit.
