Excellent contoy - Going to know the island of contoy was one of the excursions we could make on our vacation. Reservation, very natural and rustic. Lots of greenery, we loved it. Boat 10, food 10, drinks 10, and attention 12!!

Wonderful, unique place - A great service without a doubt, but during the return it would be important to have fresh water to rinse off on the island

I LOVED THE TOUR - EXCELLENT IN CAPITAL LETTERS! This was the tour we booked! They picked us up at the agreed time, we felt very comfortable, the guides and the driver were super animated... Thank you Mauri for your good vibes! The island is spectacular, I would stay and live there. The food is very rich and varied. Thank you Guido for your constant attention before, during and after the excursion. We also took the tour to Tulum with the agency where we visited the archaeological zones of Tulum and Coba, and it was very good!!

Incredible Isla Experience - This trip is one I recommend if you’re visiting Cancun. A lot of people recommend going to Isla Mujeres, but it felt very touristy to us. Isla Cantoy, on the other hand, was a pristine and incredible experience. The Koom To’oy (protected waters) were some of the best Gulf swimming I’ve experienced anywhere. The island guided tour is worth it to see the wildlife. On top of that, snorkeling in the world’s second largest coral reef is not to be missed. I would recommend going outside of the hottest part of summer (like we did) leads to sunburn since you can’t reapply sunscreen at Isla Contoy - to protect the national park. A big thank you has to go to the tour company, who managed to get this scheduled for us despite our request only two days before.

Good but - Lots of boats... From Cancun to Isla Mujeres, a very nice little colorful island, but we only stayed there for an hour! From Isla Mujeres to Isla Contoy.... very long and finally this paradise island with crystal clear waters but once again we didn't stay there long enough!!! Correct meal Another boat to return to Cancun so a little too much boat for not enough relaxation...

Lovely island cruise — good for families - My family had a great time. Isla Contoy is amazing! Sun protective clothing/hats are a must because sunscreen is not permitted in the National park of Isla Contoy. Buffett lunch on the island was generous and delicious. Snorkeling was fun but a little chaotic; we didn’t spend too much time at the reef. Staff was very accommodating and friendly; they always made sure we had drinks and were well taken care of. Be aware that transportation is included, but if you are coming from Playa Del Carmen (as we were) it is almost 1 and 1/2 hours to get to the boat dock. We ended up taking a private taxi home after the cruise because we didn’t want to spend that much time on the bus dropping off other passengers. Overall a great experience — saw a bunch of sea turtles which thrilled my son!

It was fun and interesting, but also stressful and awkward. - Fun, but Snorkeling was rushed, Black girlfriend was aggressively profiled as a weak swimmer. Not enough time to explore Isla Mujeres, but it was a shopping trap anyway. Didn't provide detailed instructions in English. They serve beer and margaritas on the boat. It was fun, but stressful and awkward.

Disappointed - If you like to ride in a van for 4 hours total, and a boat for 4 hours total, the isla contoy is very beautiful, we were told it would be in a Catamaran but we ended up on a ferry tour boat that tried hard to make it fun but really wasn't the same. Booked with BD and Costco so was disappointed. We left at 7:55 from our hotel and arrived at the port at 10 after packing the van with more bodies then seat belts and stopping at 5 resorts. Isla mujeres is about shopping for an hour, the 90 minutes to awful snorkeling, couldn't see anything. Isla Contoy was beautiful and "lunch" was good but at 3:00, definitely bring good it buy food at Isla mujeres. And plan on a late late dinner, got back to our hotel after 9 pm. We were told by the BD Costco rep that it was a 45 minute van ride each way from Playacar, maybe by taxi it would be but not when there are so many stops and people .
