Fun adventure - Victor is amazing! We had such a great time splashing our ATV’s in the mud, jumping into the cenote, learning about Mayan culture, having the best tequila I’ve ever had, and shopping around El Cedral. Book this tour, it’s a wonderful adventure!

Tortuga tours 10/10-highly recommend - We had Henry as our guide with Tortuga tours. We can't say enough good things about him. He was amazing from start to finish. We will certainly be back and use Tortuga tours again.

A great day with Victor! - We met Victor right off the cruise boat. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very much concerned with us being safe while we did ATVs for two hours. We saw the jade cenote. We also went through a historic area and had a lot of fun riding with Victor and another couple on our tour.

Awesome! Perfect for cruisers - Mauro our guide was great, overall an enjoyable experience. The Cenote was nice and refreshing, and a very fun high jump into the water. Yes there are bats in the cave and the water is gross, so close your mouth when you jump in and live a little!

Fun, but be aware - The ride itself and the guide were wonderful however there are some things that people may want to be aware of. 1. The meeting description was good however there were no signs or anyone there to greet us when we arrived so it caused some anxiety that we were in the right location. They responded to my message quickly asking if we were in the right place and said a guide was on the way. The guide was about 10 minutes late and spoke very little english. 2. The guide walked us a few blocks away and we waited about 20 more minutes for cars to arrive. During that time she asked whether we were okay driving a car in mexico (through another traveler who thankfully spoke Spanish ). We had to follow her in a different car. It was not too hard, but worried about losing her in traffic. Also they added a fifth person to our vehicle which was a compact car and three of our group were well over 6 ft tall. it was only a 25 minute ride so not terrible. Same thing happened on the way back where one of the travelers had to drive separately. And we saw other travelers who are on a different schedule also being asked to drive. 3. The tour is described as 3 hours however our pickup time was 11:00 a.m. and we did not make it back to the pier until after 4:00 p.m. with a 4:30 all aboard for our ship. 4. This is called a double ATV ride but the description says you will not have to share and the pictures show single people driving double Atvs. We were told all 4 of us would have to ride on two vehicles . there were four of us : three men over 21 years old and over 6 ft tall. They agreed to let 2 of us ride separately for an extra $15. 5. We were never offered water or the head scarfs. 6. There was no beach or snorkeling despite what it says in the description.( i honestly forgot about that anyway. And there wasn't time. 7. We went in January and everyone got VERY muddy. (Not a big deal, but be prepared). Again, the riding was fun. The guide was great. The Cenote was very cool. Tequila tasting was neat. The logistics and communication were just not good. If you are OK driving in mexico, and sharing an ATV, I'd recommend signing up for the 9 am tour so you are sure to be back in time.
