Amazing bioluminescence experience - We had an amazing experience. Jonatan and David are great guides. They explained the bioluminescence phenomenon very well. In addition, they gave a great explanation to the different star constellations. The bioluminescence was very beautiful!

Great bioluminescence tour - Booking and communication was very easy. Jonathan picked us up from the hotel and brought us back again. After a short trip by kayak we stopped on a sandbank. There you could see the bioluminescence on the sand and water, a great spectacle. The starry sky and setting moon were also beautiful to look at.

I had a great time in Holbox. - I had a wonderful experience guided by Johny, where I truly immersed myself in the breathtaking beauty of nature. The landscapes were stunning, filled with vibrant colors and enchanting sights that left me in awe.

Lovely experience :) - Lovely experience and well organised. Sky was breathtaking and guide had solid knowledge of the constellations which he showed us. Able to see some bioluminescence too, despite being off season.

Bioluminescential in Holbox - It was one of the most interesting experiences we had in our lives. Getting picked up by an ATV to go to the meeting point and seeing all the stars following with a kayak ride to a sand band offshore with a bunch of other couples was amazing. Once we arrived at the sand band we jumped off from our kayaks and walked in the water half way our bodies and received information about bioluminescence and experienced the phenomenon on site. Highly recommended activity as this is something that you cannot easily do on your own.

Kayak to a bioluminescence area and see the cool stuff. - The staff and activity were great! We had no idea what to expect, but what a delightful adventure!! We kayaked out, saw the cool sights, and then kayaked back. The time of year for the bioluminescence was not the best (I take it, but the stars were BEAUTIFUL).

A cute experience - It was very comfortable, they explained many things from kayaking, the reason for the phenomenon is even the stars.

Recommend! - Excellent! Highly recommend- pick up was easy and the tour was great. We got picked up at 9:15pm and there was only 3 of us our group. The guide was friendly and informative.

Worth it any time of the year - We ended up going in December. We were still able to see some of the bioluminescence, just not as much as you would in the summer. Still, I’d recommend this experience at any time of the year. Johnny, our guide, was very kind and welcoming; he explained the science behind the bioluminescence and also toured the stars above. To be in the water seeing the milky way really made this experience unforgettable. Like I said, you’d see more plankton in the summer but even if you visited Holbox during winter, I’d highly recommend doing this tour
