Bucket List Trip! - We had such a great time on the boat - the water around the islands is the best Caribbean Blue that you can imagine! This was a bucket list item that was sooooo worth it! First we went snorkeling in incredibly crystal clear water - you can see for miles everywhere around you. Luckily, the sea was fairly calm so we got to stay in the water for about 40 minutes. Contoy island is just amazing! We stopped off to visit and had a guided tour of a part of the island and saw so many beautiful birds! It is wonderful that it’s a nature reserve protected by the Mexican government. Then we visited Isla Mujeres, which is bustling with tourists but was a must see! We strolled through the streets and bought some nice gifts to take home. All in all, it was a great day out and the crew really looked after us the whole time!
