Viator connections are better than cruise ship websites - Marlin is an excellent tour guide for this activity! My family was impressed with his friendly service and his extra effort to help us enjoy our first trip to Cozumel. He shared lots of great information and took photos of us at the caves that we will treasure for years. It is NOT necessary to book shore excursions through the cruise ship sites. We are thrilled with our experience using Viator to meet Marlin and his brother at this port of call. This adventure included several points of interest that you will want to see for yourself. Thank you!

A great day out with thrills snd a bit of history - Our guide(Ceasar) was brilliant, great hospitality throughout the trip, and his knowledge was exceptional. He made the whole experience very good indeed. For the price a great value excursion if your staying on holiday or part of a cruise

Experience Details Cozumel ATVs, El Cedral Ruins, Cenote Jade, and Tequila Operated By J Capital Travel - Wonderful time! You have to get yourself from Cancun to Cozumel by ferry, but the tour picks you up nearby and drives you into the jungle where you experience a tequila tasting before you jump on ATVs. Our guide was Hans and he was terrific! He took care of everything for us, taking numerous photos of us splashing through the mud and then sending us all of the pics through Whats App. He even made sure we got back to the ferry on time. Hans was a lot of fun! There is a cenote you ride to (although I would not get into the water) that was in a partial cave full of bats - great photos.

A lot of fun! - A lot of fun! Our guide was great. Jumping into the cenote pool was cool. The Mayan temple ruins were a little underwhelming. The tequila tasting was informative and surprisingly smooth. Only downside to the trip was poor coordination and delays without good communication on the front and back end. You shouldn’t have to keep telling your guests to “be patient, you’re on vacation!” Probably added 45 min of nothing time to trip making some cruise ship travelers in our group nervous having to run to catch their ship’s departure.

Disappointed at the muddy not for swimming cenote and extra $30 charge per person - I would not recommend as it was not as advertised. We were charged an extra $30 per person at pick up in cash that was not included in the booking details. The jade cenote was a muddy swamp, no way was anyone swimming. The ATV ride was fun as expected and the tequila tour was delightful. The extra cost and muddy cenote was a huge disappointment. Our tour guide was nice and knowledgeable.

My family and I weren’t... - My family and I weren’t able to participate due to our cruise not docking because of the storm. We’re still trying to get our money back. We have yet to hear from anyone for a response.
