Nice - The tour guide she was great. We went to a church it was pretty. Then we went around the island and seen some of the landmarks. A good tour if you have older people in your group.

Great Tour- Ask for Alejandro! - BEST trolley tour ever! Our guide Alejandro and driver Hector were awesome. Alejandro has the best sense of humor and knew everyone’s name in a matter of minutes. Very informative about the island and culture. Definitely recommend!

SIT BACK, RELAX AND ENJOY! - After our underwhelming experience with the Cozumel Buggy Tour, we decided to try something different. This time we selected a 3-hour excursion with The Cozumel Trolley & Tour Company.
Check out their website to obtain the most up to date information regarding scheduling and pricing. When we scheduled, the company offered two options: a morning and an afternoon schedule. Depending on the time of year, most of the morning tours are booked up with cruisers. We selected the afternoon schedule and were the only passengers not from a cruise ship. In fact, when our tour guide asked all the passengers to introduce themselves and tell everyone which ship, they were on, they were all surprised to learn that we were not on a cruise but lived in Mexico. After the initial “shock and awe” of our Mexico address, it was time to enjoy our tour.
Our driver and guide took us to many historical, popular, and cultural attractions. The places we stopped were:
- San Jose del Mar Church
- Aviation Monument
- Ixchel Structure
- Downtown area, the main square
- Mayan Plaza Shopping Mall
At each stop, the guide provided us with a brief overview (in English and Spanish), time to stop and take photos, and an opportunity to walk around, shop, taste some of the local fare (Mayan chocolate for us, tequila tasting for others…LOL). Overall, we had a wonderful time, met lots of fun-loving people and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in the beautiful, air-conditioned, charming trolley.
You can bring snacks and beverages on the Trolley, but they do provide unlimited cold bottled water. They only ask that you collect your trash and dispose of it appropriately.
We highly recommend you check them out…you will have a blast and will not be disappointed.

Nice tour guides! Great concept! Just enough time each place! - Hop aboard a bus that looks a lot like a trolley! It’s got big windows and is made perfectly for a small group. Paco and Mr. Elijah were wonderful! Got us there safely, gave great information, and an added bonus of being funny!
Stopped a few fun places: a Catholic Church, the beach where the first non-Maya stepped foot, complete with a Mayan pyramid, then downtown to wander (and maybe grab a bite at cio Lito Lindo).. last we stopped at a chocolate factory and tequila talk. Lots of tasting. I definitely bought 2 bottles of tequila (I’m not a tequila drinker) and 2 bars of the best (non bitter) dark chocolate you’ll ever eat.

Good little excursion for the money! - The guide was knowledgeable and the trolley actually had very cold air conditioning! The little stops we made were pleasant- I didn’t even know that was part of the trip!

Good, short day trip - If you want to shop, this is the tour for you. There was lots of “fun facts” about Cozumel, would have liked to hear more about historical and custom details during travel time. The 45 minute stop provided culture, photo opportunities, shopping and the tequila or chocolate tasting were both educational and yummy. Our guide and driver were helpful and charming.

Waste of time and money - The tour was pretty much as advertised, but there really wasn't much to see. The worst part was that the tour guide's English was so poor that she was difficult to understand. To make matters even worse, she spoke very rapidly. I could understand less than 10% of what she said. My wife did a little better, but she still could not understand more than half of what the tour guide had to say.

We didn’t feel we saw anything new or different to make this excursion worthwhile - This was a 3 hour trolley tour with stops at a 420 yr old church, another stop with tequila tasting and chocolate tasting, yet another with plenty of time to shop. SO many shops and pretty much all selling the same stuff - lots of jewelry (who knows about the value?), booze, leather and souvenirs. Also pharmacies where many drugs that require prescriptions in the US are over the counter here. Paco was a good guide but difficult to hear and understand at times - he could use a bullhorn or microphone. Extremely aggressive sales people and much of it very old, dirty and in need of fixing up. Trolley air conditioned.
