What a Blast! - This is a great way to get around and see the area. Snorkeling was fun and the lunch was pretty good. It was great getting away from the crowds. Worth the money.

Family Adventure - Hugo was fantastic. He gave us several options to choose from and allowed us to customize our trip to our liking. He let us know of any additional costs (optional) upfront and did not push us to spend money we didn’t want to. We did lots of activities our young children enjoyed. Hugo helped us get awesome family pictures. 10/10 would recommend for families with young children.

A great 5 hour tour! - Anna was a fantastic tour guide. She asked us the things we enjoy and the things we are interested in and created a tour, especially for our family. We would highly recommend this tour.

Good trip! - Our tour guide, Adriana, was exceptional and rolled with the punches. She took us to places that we had wanted to go, not necessarily on the typical tourist agenda. Would highly recommend her/the trip.

It is what you make it. Having the best guide in all of Mexico helps too! - First things first. Gerardo (Jerry) our guide was incredible. He made the excursion a huge success. Super props to Jerry!!! 10 out of 10 stars!! Booking was easy and instructions were clear and easy to follow. We went from the port to the Meeting place without issue. It took 5 minutes to get there. Jerry was there early waiting for us when we arrived a bit early. He was very friendly and helpful right from the start. He asked what things we wanted to see and do on our excursion. We had an idea of what we wanted to do, but asked for his advice. He was very helpful and honest about our options. We chose to visit some Mayan sites, some beaches and to snorkle for a short time. We (4 of us) got into a nice jeep with Jerry driving. I was concerned with this initially because I was led to believe that we would have our own jeep. I also thought that we might be crowded. I am so happy that it ended up being this way. Being in the same vehicle with Jerry and getting to listen to his wealth of knowledge was awesome. We would have missed out on so much had we been in a different vehicle. Jerry took us to some amazing Mayan sites. The best part about these sites was Jerry's passion, excitement and knowledge. He shared tons of details, personal experiences and facts about everything that we saw. Jerry explained Mayan culture and how the impact of that Culture is still visible in Cozumel and other areas of Mexico to this day. We spent hours visiting different sites hearing the details and history of these sites and the associated culture of the Mayan people. This was the highlight of the excursion. We also visited the highest point on Cozumel with great views, had a delicious lunch and did some snorkeling near the resort where we had lunch. This was an amazing 5.5 hours and was worth every penny. On the excursion were my wife and I (Late 50's) and my daughter and son in law (mid 20's) We were all equally impressed with Jerry and the excursion as a whole. We would do it again in a heart beat. If you do this excursion, which we highly recommend, ask for Jerry!!!

Cozumel by Jeep with Javier - At 10am, we were met by Javier (Javi) outside the cruise terminal in Cozumel in the exact location that was messaged to me via Viator. We had a party of 11 so we rode in 3 Jeeps (all automatic). Javier first asked what we wanted to do. We decided to "quickly" tour the city and end with snorkeling. Javier drove one Jeep - 2 guys in our group drove the other 2. Javi was very accommodating. We first stopped for souvenir shopping - gave ourselves 15 min lol. Then took quick pics at the Mayan temple and Catholic church. From there we headed to the windward side of the island. The rocks against the turquoise ocean was a beautiful sight - stopped for a quick drink & pics - saw a few surfers being told by the national guard that it was really too dangerous to be surfing. Then we drove to the snorkeling site which was right down the street from Mr.Sanchos/Paradise/Playa Mia/Chankanaab but we didn't have to pay any admission fees :) This is where we ordered lunch (included), tasted tequila and then snorkeled with Javi. We could have used another hour here! This is the same place where other snorkel boat excursions were stopping. Everyone had a great time but if I were to do it again - I would start with the snorkeling and leave the beach once everyone had their fill. I only gave it 4 instead of 5 stars bc we really didn't have enough time at the end and it felt kinda rushed. BUT we did a lot, everyone was happy, and we returned to the ship on time! Thank you so much for a great day Javier!

We had a lot of fun... - We had a lot of fun tequila tasting at a local farm. Unfortunately we could not snorkel due to strong water current.

OK but could have been better. - The driver was great, the Jeep was comfortable. The lighthouse was good, and the ruins were OK. The lunch left much to be desired and was less than we expected both in food and location. The tequila tasting was terrible, in both the quality of tequila offered and especially the person conducting the tasting. I was offended by his attitude and manner with which he interacted with us. As well, the location of the tasting left much to be desired - a portable table with a cooler beachside is not (in my opinion) not how a tequila tasting should be conducted. We had better experiences walking down 5th Avenue and dropping into the various tequila shops. Snorkeling could have been much better. The equipment was of low quality and I gave up on trying to use the flippers - they filled with sand and shells with each step in the water - going forward or backward made no difference. All in all, we had expected much more. There was enough content to raise this tour to 3 stars and is about what we have come to expect in Mexico. We are Permanent residents and have lived in Yucatan for 14 years. This was typical of what one can expect from a Mexican tour.

Huge Disappointment - Pick up time was 9am and at 10:30 we were able to have a security guard assist us in finding our tour company. Company was finally contacted ( no numbers on the app were being answered) tour company was able to send a employee of another company at 11:30 to lead us (3 couples) to our jeeps. We had 3 reservations and were supposed to have 3 vehicles and tour the island. We were given 2 jeeps and one was driven by the tour operator. We were supposed to have water and beer provided. We had none. After an hour drive to the gulf side of the island (which is stunning) we stopped for a photo opp and swim if we wanted. We really just wanted something to drink (we had been waiting since 9am and it's now 12:30 and we were extremely thirsty and hungry) we asked to be driven to our food spot which was another 30 min drive. Our guide (from another company) tried his best to deal with 6 grumpy hot adults. After a good lunch and drinks we were feeling better and went and snorkled and did a tequila tasting. We were done so we drove back to the meeting spot. We appreciated the young guide doing his best to salvage a situation not of his doing. What we do not appreciate is XERO apology from the original tour company and nothing from Viator. 2 1/2 hours shorted, nothing to drink (it was hot) and paid for 3 vehicles and got 2.
