Wonderful experience - The sunrise over the mangroves was wonderful. Gliding calmly through the water and watching various birds, including countless flamingos, was definitely worth getting up early. There were also significantly fewer mosquitoes than feared.

Amazing! - Amazing experience at Punta Mosquito on Isla Holbox with our kind and funny guide Omar! We took the kayak for about 20min to the sandbank and from there you have a great view for the stars. The plankton was very visible as well. Would recommend!

Magi. Period. - We had an incredible night with Diego. It truly is magical and words cannot describe the sheir wonder of seeing the bioluminescence with your own eyes. Diego is an excellent guide, taking his time to explain everything in detail but still leaving you enough room to enjoy in silence. The rising moon was an exceptional bonus. Highly recommend!

Bioluminescence and nights sky Punta Mosquito - Amazing tour - truly magical experience. Omar was professional and knowledgeable. We were picked up the hotel, we then drove towards Punta Mosquito, got in the kayaks and paddled to the sandbank which is further away from light pollution to enjoy the bioluminescence and the night sky. We were then dropped back at the hotel. I did the tour with my 11 year daughter, she really enjoyed it too.

Operative word is MAGIC - I went on this trip earlier tonight and had to write a review right away. Words do not do justice to how enchanting the entire experience was. There’s something so magical about seeing the brilliance of night sky away from night pollution while gliding in a kayak in the darkness. And the bioluminescence glittered in the water, as if competing with the stars to put on their best light show. The highlight for me was floating on my back while admiring the night sky. It was so tranquil, immersing you with the beauty of the surrounding. Gustavo and Omar were terrific guides and appreciation to Diego for the pick-up and drop-off. 100% recommend.

Excellent tour, unmatched experience - Excellent experience. I went with my family and my parents are elderly, the truth is that the guides were super good and gave them all the attention, it was worth it, it is a first-class experience, a detailed explanation of everything. Gustado and my countrywoman were very accessible and patient. It was magnificent to see the bioluminescence and the starry sky with the explanation of the constellations. I definitely recommend the tour. And considering that the conditions were favorable due to the darkness, it was worth the wait. I highly recommend it

Nice trip but not optimal conditions for bioluminescence - Beautiful starry night but just 48 hours after a storm that had really stirred up the sea, so not optimal conditions for the bioluminescence. Diego was our guide and went out with my traveling partner (not very adventurous retired person and myself, fairly adventurous and fit) and 2 women who appeared game. A bit more explanation that we were walking across an uneven beach in the dark would have been helpful and possibly arming at least some of the party with flashlights before we left would have been nice but we made it into the kayaks them paddled up the island away from lights about a mile. Very beautiful, tiny sliver of moon and peaceful seas. Paddled to a sandbar and walked around, small amount of phytoplankton but beautiful none the less. Diego kept up a discourse about the fish and the currents and the flora and fauna as well as a relatively good description of the constellations and the stories surrounding them.
