We had such a blast, and I'd definitely recommend Leon Tours to anyone visiting Cozumel! - We had a totally awesome day with Leon Tours! Our guide, Jose Carlo, was super chill and knew his stuff about Cozumel. We checked out some cool spots, like the first Catholic church (Capilla de la Santa Cruz) and Hemingway's hangout (Playa Mia). We even learned how to make tequila at a local distillery (Sabores de Cozumel)! The tasting was so much fun. We also checked out a cool beach bar called "Welcome to Miami" and had some the best micheladas. Then, we hit up Punta Sur beach, which was total paradise. We had fresh fish fajitas for lunch and went snorkeling in the crystal-clear water. It was incredible. Our driver, Phillipe, was also super cool and drove us around like a pro for 5 hours. The whole tour was well-organized and totally worth it.

Excellent guides - Petrus was a wonderful guide. Super-knowledgeable and friendly. He made our visit to Cozumel memorable. Very flexible. Highly recommend!

JC was our tour guide…he... - JC was our tour guide…he took us to a few unexpected locations but wow what a treat! We saw turtle nests on the beach, went to the tequila museum, had a tour of the ruins and we opted to skip the beach as rain was starting. But wow what a great visit! Leon tours was amazing

Awesome tour! - We had nine in our groups ages 5-42 (4 kids and 5 adults). We did this excursion during a cruise. Our guide was awesome at dealing with all of the personalities of our group and changes to the itinerary given we were not prepared for the stifling heat (late August). He was friendly, informative, patient and fun. The tour itself was very thorough and appealed to everyone in different ways. We got to see a lot in a little time for a price much more reasonable than what the cruise line offered. I would recommend this tour!

VIP Tour of the Island - Touring Cozumel with JC was absolutely crucial. There was so much to learn and experience on this small island, but JC left us feeling like absolute royalty after taking us around the island and connecting us with great businesses, tour guides, and sharing stories about the history of the island. We witnessed multiple people who seemed kind of lost while they were attempting to "DIY" their excursions. Meanwhile, we had one of the most connected, knowledgeable people on the island showing us around. What a treat it was, spending the day with JC. Thank you sir!!

Petrus is PHENOMENAL! - We got off the cruise ship to do this trip and man was it a good call. Petrus knew so much about the history of the island and catered to our needs. I can’t recommend him enough. I’ll be sharing with all of my friends!

Don’t Hesitate! Book This Tour! - We scored big time with Juan Carlos as our guide! He was full of knowledge about the history of Cozumel, as well as the current day and age of the island. The tour was everything and more! We visited Capilla Santa Cruz, San Gervasio /Mayan Ruins (be sure to use bug spray), visited caves with bats, went tequila tasting and hung out on the east side of the island. The beaches there are in a more natural setting, away from the resort and business settings. For us, it was more relaxing this way. Keep in mind this is during the low season. It was a five hour tour, but the time went by so fast. JC was our own personal guide. He took very good care of us and made us feel like family….Sad we had to say goodbye. Overall, we’re so happy we booked the tour and feel blessed we got JC as our guide! If we come back, we’re requesting him! Leon Tours, you have a gem with JC! Birgit was also very responsive leading up to our tour. She messaged us details regarding our tour and responded in a timely manner to our questions. Another great thing, Leon tours was able to pick us up right outside our hotel (Westin Cozumel). They offer multiple pick up locations, so there is a very good chance you don’t have to travel far for pick up. I highly recommend this excursion. Go for it and book it now!

Excellent tour of a beautiful place with a wonderful guide - Our guide Petrus was funny, engaging, so knowledgable, very very nice. We could not be happier with the places he showed us, the Mayan ruins, beautiful beach on the "wild side" of the island, and all the stories he told us. Both me and my teenage daughter loved the tour.
