Finest experience I’ve ever had! - Fernando w/Rio Secreto was absolutely a fantastic guide. He was well knowledges in the caves and at Tulum. Was able to answer all and any questions. We felt safe always. My 10 year old was nervous at first but Fernando reassured him everything would be okay. Hector was also great, our photographer, and got really good pics of us! We had a group of 4 people and enjoyed the smaller group, we got lucky with this as we were supposed to have a larger group. Overall I’d recommend Fernando for this tour and this company in general!

Rio Secreto and Tulum Day Trip - Our guide Fernando was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable. Rio Secreto was stunning. Definitely a workout. Be ready for difficult terrain and coldish water ~71 degrees. Even with a wet suit If you get cold easily having a long sleeve swim shirt will help. And definitely take the walking stick! Also Tulum doesn’t allow disposable plastic water bottles in the historic park so be sure to bring a reusable bottle.

Excellent Tour and Tour Guide - This excursion was excellent. Our tour guide Tainara made it even better - she was diligent with us in the caves, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable throughout the entire tour. Would highly recommend Rio Secreto and Tainara!!

Excellent Tour - It’s beautiful. Gorgeous. The cenote was freeeeeezing cold, but it was soooo worth it. It was stunning. Seeing the Chichen Itza pyramids was another amazing experience we had. We loved the history lesson from our tour guide. Make sure you wear comfortable sneakers! We didn’t get to go down to the beach, but it was a beautiful view.

Do not miss the opportunity to visit the underground river. - Despite a very wet day we had a great time visiting Tulum. The underground river tour was the highlight for us. We could have spent a little less time in the shopping area.

They stood us up and never went through the hotel. - The excursion is beautiful. It's worth it. I bought it for Takeoff including Tulum. Pre-communication is very bad. They never contacted us, we wrote them two emails, called them, arrived the day of the excursion and they stood us up. You're on vacation and you shouldn't be watching for those things, they should be coordinated. That same day, seeing that they did not pass through the hotel, we took a taxi to Rio Secreto, taxi that we had to pay for, and we were considered to do the basic excursion, the cheapest. We lost Tulum. On many excursions that happens, previous communication fails.

Beautiful visit to caves and Tulum - Have a good day of activities in the cave and visit Tulum. Only flat selling the photos in the cave has US$30 for a photo or US$120 for All the photos (about ten photos), it is very expensive. We should be able to receive them by email for much less. Very appreciated guide Ariel.

Horrible experience and very unethical business practices - STAY AWAY - Horrible experience and very unethical business practices. The tour went fine, everything was going well although figuring out pricing for our group was incredibly confusing with Airtransat. We were told it would cast $110USD cash for 30 photos. As we repeated that to the tour guide while taking the photos no one said anything. Then when we arrived they started showing us photos, but no one would say the cost. I went up to one of the workers and he said it was $280 USD. I mentioned that isn't close to what we were quoted and he said too bad. I then asked about one and he said $30 USD. One of our family members (not a good decision) lifted up their phone to take a photo of the computer screen, which another worker saw and dove in. He said "Don't be gross." Which I know there is a language barrier but this didn't go well with my family member and she started yelling. They unplugged the monitor and we just rushed to leave back to the resort. Really too bad the tour guide was great but the constant sketchy swindling on prices for anything and mixed information, along with surprising us with a massive expense for photos (remember they ban cameras and phones during the experience). I don't understand how a business can do this and expect people to be pleasant and happy with the experience afterwards. I run a business and know one bad review hurts a ton, but when you treat your customers like walking wallets and try and trick them - it isn't right. For the record we emailed afterwards trying to get a chance to review photos again or rectify the situation as it was a unique experience, but we had no response.
