Walk with friends - It is my second time in Mexico and I love visiting the beautiful parks it has to enjoy. This time I wanted to visit this beautiful park that I couldn't reach last time due to time. We went with two more friends and we really enjoyed all the activities it has, we were able to snorkel on its beautiful beaches, go on float rides and enjoy the zip lines.

The most amazing Tour at Tulum Mayan Ruins and Fun Day at Xel-Ha Water Park with Grupo Xcaret! - The most amazing tour yet again with Grupo Xcaret: Tulum and Hel-Ha Water Park. Wonderfully organized whole-day tour, clean coach, fantastic staff: Kevin ( our marvelous guide), David our driver and Alan - the additional supporting guide. Thank you for presenting Tulum and Mayan culture in a very comprehensive, fun way. My family and I had a superb, memorable experience.

Tulum and Xen Ha with Tainara - My day trip to Tulum and Xen Ha was an absolute delight! The stunning archaeological ruins in Tulum offered a fascinating glimpse into Mayan history, complemented by the breathtaking coastal views. Xen Ha's natural beauty left me in awe; from snorkeling in crystal-clear cenotes to relaxing in the lazy river, every moment was magical. Our guide, Tainara, was exceptional—knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing insights into the local culture. Tainara's guidance added a personal touch to the experience, making it truly memorable. This all-day trip was a perfect blend of history, nature, and fantastic company.

A must, definitely! - Great park... the water is turquoise it's magnificent lots of fish to see, big and small... we had the chance to see rays without paying for the activity to swim with them.. 125 Cads per person l entry with unlimited non-alcoholic drinks, breakfast + lunch at the buffet so it's worth it, extra activity inside, we swam with the manatees it was great, rare to be able to go to water with them, give them food and caress them... between Xcaret and Xel-ha it is better to do the interior (zip line, water games, etc.) photo system is great. 👌

Be warned about the slide - Signed up for Xel-Ha all-inclusive and Tulum tour. Price wasn't too bad considering you get to visit two sites but we never made it to Tulum because we were exhausted from the heat and activities at Xel-Ha. Noticed some reviews complained about the cost. I thought it was ok since the cost included pick up from our resort, unlimited food and drinks, and return transport even though we opted for a taxi back to our resort instead. We booked with the park directly. They picked up from our resort in a large air conditioned coach bus that also had a restroom. The water at Xel-Ha is beautiful. The staff wonderful. I don't know why some people complained about the food. We thought the hot food was pretty good. We saw a kitchen staff member constantly check on the food and writing notes. We also saw someone in a lab coat testing the water from the water fountain in the kids area. It seems they take quality very seriously at Xel-Ha. There are multiple restaurants in the park so maybe we got lucky at the one we went to. Our waiter was very attentive and so funny. It was the restaurant close to the water slide. Loved that they have the life jackets all over the park so that guests are free to grab one whenever they want to jump in the water. I thought the kids area was a great detail for families with young children. The treehouse still provided a jungle experience for the little ones while offering safety. Mosquitos were savage but not the park's fault. My only complaint is the lighthouse/slide. I honestly think it is very dangerous for kids. In the U.S. kids are not allowed on slides over a certain height. The lighthouse is far too high up for young kids but they don't seem to be concerned at Xel-Ha. Parents, please exercise caution. They do not allow parents to hold onto their kids when going down the slide. Watch a Youtube video on it before you go. Wish I did! There is not enough safety briefing about the slide before they let you up. Also, on a scorching day, going up all those steps to the top of that slide is extremely dangerous. I almost passed out from heat exhaustion and no way was I going to slide in a spiral down when I already felt dizzy so i took the stairs back down very slowly, which was also pretty unpleasant. There are plenty of other negative reviews about the questionable safety of the slide. Please exercise extreme caution and know what you're getting into. My 6yr old is officially traumatized after getting on it. He took the slow one while my husband took the fast one because the staff told them they couldn't go down together. Why didn't they tell us before we climbed all the way up to the top?! How is a 6yr old supposed to go down a 12 story slide without an adult? That would be a lawsuit in the U.S! But my kid wouldn't be able to go back down the stairs either. You're just stuck and have to go down the damn slide. Again, be warned. Aside from the slide, we had a really great time at Xel-Ha. We had two little ones in our group and they wouldn't have made it through all the walking necessary at Tulum so we decided to head back to our resort instead of Tulum. The heat plus walking and swimming totally wore us out. I do not recommend doing the Xel-Ha Tulum tour if traveling with young children. This was my 2nd time at Xel-Ha. Last time was 17 years ago. Food and drinks are better now. Less fish to see in the water sadly. For the most part, the park seems better managed.

Wonderful experience - Good combination of Tulum and Xel-Ha trip as it is only 15min apart. Long day trip but very punctual. Well organized and easily identified spot and transfer bus. The only reason I gave 4 star is about 40min wait in the transfer point on the departure trip and tour guide missed giving meTulum wrist band just because I fell asleep in the bus.

Total money making racket!!! - Great organisation with transportation and guide instruction. Our trip to Tulum was in the afternoon which we felt interrupted our enjoyment at Xelah. Afraid it very much didn’t live up to expectations at Xelah. Food was passible at best, but what do you expect at locations like this. More importantly is that every activity that was worth doing you have to pay extra for. That was a surprise and for us was a total money making racket especially with the price we paid per person! I’d rather activities be included at no extra cost and pay for the food! There were a few free activities which definitely didn’t live up to expectations. This was a second visit to Xelah for our friends who were with us, and they said it’s nothing like it was; it was far better on their previous trip. Sorry, total waste of money, wound not recommend.
