Cotopaxi National Park - Hike through Cotopaxi National Park, home to one of the highest active volcanoes in the world.
Next, we will visit the Limpiopungo Lagoon.
Canon del Rio Toachi - This canyon was formed by pyroclastic flows from the Quilotoa volcano. The base of the canyon consists of pumice, lapilli, and volcanic bombs, with an estimated age of 1800 years.
Laguna Quilotoa - Guided tour of Quilotoa, exploring the 3km-wide turquoise volcanic crater lake.
Afterward, time for lunch.
Salcedo - Stop for famous Ecuadorian ice cream on the way to Baños.
Baños - Drop off at Central Park in Baños.

Puyo - On the way, we will visit a Paiche hatchery. The Paiche, native to the Amazon jungle, is the largest freshwater fish in the world.

Finca Mirador Indichuris - Visit an orchid and botanical garden. Hike through the jungle to a stunning waterfall and the lookout at Indichuris. The guide will explain the significance of the Cordillera de los Andes, the importance of the Pastaza River, and the communities along its banks when the active Sangay volcano is visible.

Iglesia de Balbanera - La Balbanera is one of the earliest examples of colonial architecture in South America and the first Catholic church in Ecuador. It survived the great earthquake of 1797 and is still in use today.

Ingapirca Ruins - If your trip falls between Thursday and Sunday, you will visit “Ingapirca,” a Kichwa word meaning ‘wall of the Inca.’ This pre-Columbian site in southern Ecuador is a must-see for those interested in the Qhapaq Ñan.
If your trip falls on Monday or Tuesday, we will visit “Baños del Inca.” This monument is possibly the most notable archaeological feature of the site, consisting of a sculptural complex with two interconnected ponds carved into an extensive rock.
Biblian - One of the main tourist attractions in the Biblián canton is the majestic Sanctuary of the “Virgen del Rocío.” If the sanctuary is open, we can explore its interior and art. On the way, you can taste traditional “Cascaritas” (baked pig skin).
Afterward, transfer to Cuenca City.

Cuenca - Pick up in Cuenca at Parque Calderón for our day tour.
La Casa de la Makana - Stop at a local workshop to see the ancestral “ikat”-style weaving technique and the complete process of making Macanas.
Chordeleg - Located in the Santa Bárbara river basin in the province of Azuay, Chordeleg was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000. It is famous for its fine filigree jewelry, including high-quality gold and silver necklaces, bracelets, and earrings.
Calderon Park - Time for lunch.
Pumapungo Museo - The Museum and Ethno-botanical Park of Pumapungo are ideal for learning about the Cañari and Inca cultures. This educational space offers a permanent program of training and research in archaeology to educate the public about the ancient Andean worldview.
Mirador de Turi - The name Turi comes from the indigenous word kuri, meaning gold. Located 10 minutes from the city center, the mountain of Turi was a place of worship according to Inca history. This viewpoint offers a unique panoramic view of the city.
Afterward, drop off at Parque Calderon.

El Cajas National Park - Located in the province of Azuay in southern Ecuador, Cajas National Park features older Andes mountain ranges with less volcanic activity and extensive highlands. The park contains nearly 165 lagoons larger than 1 hectare and 621 smaller ones, totaling 786 bodies of water.
Laguna La Toreadora - Accessible via the Cuenca – Molleturo – Puerto Inca road, approximately 40 kilometers from Cuenca. This site includes the Park’s Technical Office, an interpretation center, and access to various trails.
Hacienda Cacao y Mango - An agricultural farm focused on agrotourism, offering agricultural tours, typical food, and recreational activities. Time for lunch on the farm (1 hour, not included). Transfer to Guayas province to visit a traditional farm.
