- Cotopaxi National Park - Cotopaxi National Park is a perfect starting point for your visit to Ecuador. It features one of the world’s highest active volcanoes, and its cone shape is a symbol of beauty and admiration for visitors. During this tour, you can marvel at its breathtaking landscapes.
Upon entering the National Park, the group will walk to the Jose Rivas shelter, situated at 4,897 meters. Here, there will be a short rest to recharge energy. Afterward, the journey continues to the glaciers, reaching a total altitude of 5,000 meters. On the return to the parking area, the group will descend to Laguna Limpiopungo.
At Laguna Limpiopungo, weather permitting, there will be an opportunity to capture a stunning photograph of Cotopaxi. Following the lagoon visit, the group will take a bus to a restaurant for a well-deserved lunch. After a day filled with adventure, there will be a break before returning to Quito.
- Laguna de Limpiopungo - The visit includes a walk along the trails of the beautiful Laguna de Limpiopungo. If the weather cooperates, the reflection of Cotopaxi can be seen in the lagoon.
