• Mindo Valley - Gather at Mindo Central Park at 5:50 a.m. Transportation will take you to the private birdwatching reserve to begin the activity. Your guide will warmly welcome you and explain the various species that can be identified as you walk around the site. On a pleasant day, it is common to spot between 60 to 90 bird species. Some of the species you might see include: Golden Quetzal, Masked Trogon, Rufous-throated Tanager, Palm Tanager, Masked Flowerpiercer, Golden-Naped Tanager, Golden Tanager, Black-Chinned Mountain Tanager, Blue-winged Mountain Tanager, and Blue and Gray Tanager, among others.
