- Quito Old Town - In the afternoon you will visit the colonial town of Quito, which is the first World Cultural Heritage Site (UNESCO 1978). Before we start the walk, you can have a little break for a drink, or a small lunch; if it is necessary your experienced tour guide can give you different valuable recommendations and options!
- Fundacion Iglesia de la Compania - During your walk, you will pass through the Independence Square, scenery of many dramatic battles of revolution in the history of the Republic of Ecuador. You will have the opportunity to visit the Presidential Palace, the Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Church of the Secret Society of Jesus of Quito, summit of the Latin American Baroque style and the charming neighbourhood of “La Ronda”.
- Iglesia y Convento de San Francisco - Visit to San Francisco Church, built in 1540.
- El Panecillo - Then you’ll have the opportunity to drive uphill way, to visit the top of “El Panecillo”, where the winged Virgin Mary of Quito is located, and it is considered the tallest aluminium statue of the world. Then you will finish this fantastic and memorable excursion approximately at 3:00 p.m.

Excellent tour of old town Quito - Ximena gave us an excellent tour! She knew how best to avoid the crowds, and she changed the order to suit the weather, assuring us the best views from the top of the mountain. . She was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about showing the best her country has to offer. Opt for the chocolate tasting…well worth it!

Perfect Quito Experience - Wow! What a great tour. Our guide, Hugo, was excellent and so informative. Great pace and perfect balance and timing of all the must-see sites. Hugo spoke perfect English and had a wonderful sense of humor. He timed the cable car entrance perfectly so there was no line and a clear morning sky. Can’t recommend this tour enough. Ask for Hugo, if you can.

A great day in Quito! - We booked the Cable Car and Quito Private City Tour (Ecuador Best Tours). This was such a great day to get us familiar with Quito. Our guide, Ximena was terrific! She was so much fun to be with and tailored our tour to meet our interests! We went up the hill to visit the statue of Mary and overlook the city. We explored the market in the old town. Lucky to be there on Sunday when the market was active. The churches were also having services that day and we were able to go into the back to observe and hear the music. We had a fabulous lunch, went to a chocolate tasting that we loved and walked around town with Ximena’s guidance and stories. We finally took the cable car up the mountain for a fantastic view and hiked up to the swings for unique photos. Ximena was caring and patient as we stopped for many breaks to catch our breath in this high altitude. I recommend this tour, where you can choose to do what interests you with the help of an experienced guide!

Great First Day in Quito! - Luis was a great guide! Right on time, spoke great English, and even conversed with me in Spanish, to help me practice! The ride on the cable car was awesome, and the short hike was no too hard at all! Beautiful views!
It being my first day in Quito, Luis really helped me get a layout of the city! He even bumped into a previous tour guest who had lost her luggage at the airport, and he was assisting her get her luggage! Very nice! Highly recommend!

Great introduction to Quito! - Our tour guide Carlo Avila was a rock star! We learned so much about Quito’s history, culture, people in just one day! The tourist areas can be crowded and traffic difficult to negotiate, but he efficiently moved us from one tourist attraction to another attraction saving us time and stress. Carlos was engaged and enthusiastic, highlighting the best at each attraction and patiently answering our many questions.

Cable car tour in Quito - We enjoyed the cable cars. Our guide was very nice. The cable car was well timed as we went early and had good weather and beat the crowds. We enjoyed the views. We then went to old town and new town.
