Cotopaxi National Park - Hiking at Limiopungo Lake inside Cotopaxi National Park, home to one of the world’s highest active volcanoes.
There you can visit the Limpiopungo Lagoon which is at the foot of a volcano and there is possible to see some species of flora besides the volcano -
Canon del Rio Toachi - Transfer from Cotopaxi National Park to Cañon del Río Toachi. (2:30)
Here we can take some pictures and the guide will explain you about its formations wich are product of pyroclastic flows whose source was the Quilotoa volcano (0:30). The materials that form the base of the canyon are pumiceous elements, lapillis, and volcanic bombs. The emission of these flows has a suggested age of 1800 years. - Laguna Quilotoa - You will arrive to the Crater and inside it the lake, the guide will explain to you about its origin and about the flora of this zone, if the day is clear you can see all the scenery from the top of the crater and if the time is enough is possible to go down to the lake and go boating (not included)
- Salcedo - Stop for famous Ecuadorian ice cream on the way to Baños.

Accommodating, Knowledgeable, Excellent Itinerary - This was a highlight of our trip! Wanderbus was extremely accommodating when our itinerary had to change last minute, and arranged a private guide for us with a special itinerary. Our guide Pablo Salazar was friendly, knowledgable, and clearly has a passion for what he does. We loved this experience!

Great full day trip to Banos with stops at Cotopaxi and Quilotoa. - Great full day trip. Our guide was Paul and from pickup at our hotel, to our stops at Cotopaxi and Quilotoa and drop off at the door of our hotel in Banos our trip was awesome. We stopped at Rondador Cotopaxi on our way into Cotopaxi, great fresh food in a pastoral setting- the host was friendly. We worked our way around Cotopaxi and a short hike around a highland lake.
From there we headed to Quilotoa, a beautiful volcanic crater lake, had late lunch at a restaurant across from the crater. On the way to Banos stopped for some ice cream- We were safely delivered to our hotel in Banos-
Paul and his assistant were knowledgeable and spoke excellent English- We recommend this trip.

The best way to get from Quito to Banos! - Our one-way tour from Quito to Banos, stopping in Cotopaxi and Quilotoa, was a highlight of my trip to Ecuador. Cotopaxi and Quilotoa are stunning and must sees. This tour made it really convenient and time efficient to see both whilst also moving destination from Quito to Banos. We stopped for breakfast and lunch at two fantastic and affordable restaurants. Our driver/guide Erick was great! He was kind, a safe driver, and an excellent photographer. Thanks Erick and team and for a great trip!

Quito to Banos with ERICK! - Erick! Erick! Erick! Ask for him for your tour. He took us from Quito to Cotopaxi to Quilotoa to Banos! We had a fantastic time not to mention all the great food and stops along the way. Erick knows so much information and will tell you anything you need to know. He has the patience and knowledge to get you where you need to be safely quickly and fully informed on the attractions. In all seriousness this tour company is an incredible value and is well worth every dollar. Erick will be the best tour operator in Ecuador one day! You heard it here first.

Exceptional day tour - We really enjoyed travelling through Ecuador with Wanderbus! We travelled to Baños from Quito, stopping at Cotopaxi and Quilotoa on the way. Both were absolutely stunning and we wouldn’t have been able to see them if we had travelled on our own! Our guide Paul was exceptional: he was very attentive and knew so many cool facts about the area, he even gave us some tips and recommendations for the rest our trip. He made the experience really fun, would 100% recommend!!
