Super special day in Mindo with Ximena! - What an incredible experience with guide Ximena in Mindo! She listened to what I was interested in (hummingbirds!) and created a very special and fun day for me. I’m so grateful! I highly recommend a private tour with Ximena! Amazing day outside Quito - We spent the day with Ximena, who was wonderful company and full of fascinating information about Ecuador. We did a waterfall hike, fed hummingbirds, a jungle wildlife tour, and an excellent local lunch. A great chance to see more of the area around Quito.

Mindo cloud forest day trip ex Quito - Amazing day spent in the cloud forest around Mindo. David, our guide, was very knowledgeable and helpful, designing a bespoke day for us that totally suited our needs. Humming birds, canopy experience, chocolate and butterflies. Loved the whole day and really appreciated David’s local experience and Luis’ driving skills.

A fun day in Mindo! - The Mindo Cloud Forest is a breathtaking destination that blends adventure, nature, and charm. The $5.00 tram ride over the treetops offers stunning views of the lush greenery, making you feel like you’re floating above the forest. Being part of a private tour allowed us the flexibility to choose hikes that matched our interests and energy levels, ensuring a personalized experience.
The nearby town of Mindo was a delightful bonus, with its warm hospitality and relaxing vibe. Lunch was delicious, and the locally brewed coffee and unique coffee tea we brought home were exceptional souvenirs of the trip.
If you’re looking for a mix of adventure and tranquility, Mindo is an excellent choice!

Good experience - A wonderful day exploring both nature and the town of Mindo. The day was very flexible with multiple options to fit your needs, including the length of your hike. Lunch in Mindo was good and a great experience. I recommend this tour if you want a mix of nature and other activities.

Wonderful Day in the Mindo Cloud Forest - My day with Ivan was a delight. He is so pleasant, fun and funny, as well as very well versed in the area, the birding, butterflies, where to stop for a quick hike--which was great, and a good restaurant. He was flexible in listening to where I wanted to go and what I wanted to see--had done 2 very good chocolate tastings in Quito! We had a wonderful day.

A great day that made me want to return to Equador not just for the Galapagos! - Daniel was a very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful guide. We visited two bird gardens for hummingbirds and tanangers--Daniel identified them all. The first garden with the patio where you could feed hummingbirds from your hand was the most exciting. The chocolate tour was interesting and a great introduction to the centuries old cacao export and the much newer production of Equadorian chocolate. Well worth my day, and Daniel walked me back to my hotel through the police baracaides.

Mindo cloud forest private day trip - Luis was a wonderful guide. We were able to go where wanted and stay as long as we wanted, which is not possible in larger groups.

Excellent day out, loved every minute of it. - The Mindo Cloud Forest was beautiful. Our guide Freddie was very knowledgeable, funny and relaxed, we could choose what we wanted to see. We went on the ziplines over the forest, fantastic fun, bird watching, lots of spectacular humming birds, great views too, butterfly conservation area and on the cable cards. Stopped at a nice restaurant for lunch, good quality food and finished with a chocolate tour. We had a brilliant day out.
