Loved spending time with... - Loved spending time with the hummingbirds and a beautiful hike to a waterfall. It’s a not a drive from Quito at 2 hours so be prepared but experience is worth it.

Fabulous trip - Ximena took us on a wonderful trip to the Mindo Cloud Forest. Our favourite part was visiting a hummingbird location. We saw many species of hummingbirds and tanager birds up close and had hummingbirds land on our hands to drink from a small feeder. A fabulous experience!

Great wildlife and Ecuadorian knowledge - Great trip with wonderful guide Andreas was very obliging and engaging. Also very knowledgeable . Really enjoyed the. birds and butterflies. Would really recommend this trip if visiting Quito

Mindo Cloud Forest, Yumbos Chocolate Factory and Hummingbird Sanctuary Day Tour - Six of us spent the day with Carlos as our guide and Paulo as our driver touring the Mindo Cloud forest, the Yumbos Chocolate Factory, and the Hummingbird sanctuary with a stop for lunch at a lovely cafe along the way. Carlos was super knowledgeable, and we had an absolutely wonderful day. Would highly recommend this tour.

Taste of the biodiversity of Ecuador - Luis gave us personal attention to what we wanted to do because there are.so many things on a day to Mindo. We recommend a side trip to the equator museum, after all, you're in Ecuador.

A day full of new experiences at Mindo - We had a great day with Daniel who arrived promptly with a very clean car. The drive to Mindo takes around 2 hours and we felt safe in Daniel’s hands. We had a choice of what to visit and spent time at the cable car and waterfall, butterfly farm, chocolate factory with a tour and finally with the hummingbirds. It’s hard to decide on a highlight as all of it was good. Daniel is a very knowledgeable and interesting guide. He is very patient and provided a well-paced tour. We had a delicious Ecuadorian lunch in a small local restaurant which was also a highlight!

A wonderful once in a lifetime experience - Our guide Carlos was incredible. He was super knowledgeable and very passionate about showing off the wonders of Quito and Mindo. The area of the Cloud Forest we were shown was incredible and we had a lot of freedom about how long to stay at the various stops. Additionally, at points Carlos would slow down or stop to show us a particularly wonderful view or interesting flora or fauna, even on the drive there.

Fantastic day - Carlos was our guide for the day. He was very informative with good English and nothing was too much trouble. We were not hurried and able to enjoy every part of the tour.
