• Canon del Rio Toachi - We will pass through the town of Pujilí and continue to the indigenous community of Tigua, known for its Andean-themed handicrafts. Here, we will visit a craft workshop to closely observe these artworks. We will then proceed to the community of Zumbahua, where we will stop at the Toachi River viewpoint.
 • Laguna Quilotoa - We will continue to the lagoon’s viewpoint, offering a spectacular view of the entire crater of the extinct volcano and its large turquoise lagoon with various shades of green and blue. Additional Information

The Quilotoa Lagoon is one of the tourist destinations in the Ecuadorian highlands where nature has been writing its poetry for more than 800 years. It was the eruption of the Quilotoa volcano that originated a 250-meter deep caldera that, due to its minerals, gives it a turquoise green tone when the lagoon receives the impact of sunlight.

A destination of natural peace in South America that, according to many researchers, would have been the last resting place of the Inca Atahualpa: the last Inca emperor who ruled from Quito during a civil war against his brother.

What a special day! It was an... -
What a special day! It was an amazing drive to see the countryside of Ecuador. We learned so much about the food, culture and local people with our guide Ricardo on the drive! And Quilotoa Crater - it was breathtakingly beautiful! We had a wonderful lunch before taking the hike down into the crater. It is a crazy trail, but so worth it. Make sure you ask about getting the mules at the bottom, so they save some for you! There was no way we could hike back up at that elevation. The best day trip from Quito!

Not a good experience at all - The place was amazing!! Its totally worth it to visit them. The Agency used here, TERRIBLE! They forgot to pick us up so we had to call from the hotel. Then they started contacting whoever could pick us up last minute and we waited from 8am until 10am for somebody to pick us up. Then the driver was upset because it was too late for the tour and he was rushing the whole time (Even in curves, which there is a lot, he was drifting with his car because he was in a rush). When we got to the lagoon, he didnt want us to do the hike because it was too long, and even when he was our guide, he did not want to accompany us. Little is to say that when coming back, still rushing or even more, he got a flat tire because the tires couldnt resist so much drifting, thanking God that it didnt happen in a curve 3,000 meter above sea level. So to resume, avoid anything related to BM tours. This is the second bad experience i have with the same agency here in Ecuador
