An Amazing Day In Quito… - Our family only had one day to experience Quito and Jamie and Angela made every moment count! From the moment they picked us up at our hotel, it was like visiting with family. They are so kind and knowledgeable about their city answering all of our questions and making sure we would want to visit Quito (and them!) again. Spectacular views by the Virgin of El Panecillo sculpture, breathtaking cathedrals, and a trip to the equator! Angela and Jamie made sure to include everything on our list of sights to see adding their own knowledge and experience to make the most of our day. No review would be complete without mentioning the brownies at the chocolate tasting and the empanadas for lunch! We loved that they took us to places we would never have found on our own. Jamie also acted as our personal photographer making sure we had beautiful memories to bring home with us. Even our teenagers had a great time!

Excellent Quito day tour - The full day tour with Angela and Jamie was wonderful. We got in late the night before so they picked us up a little bit later than normal but we still had time for a full day of activities. We added the Alabado Museum to the tour which was an excellent choice. Angela had lined up the Guayasamin Museum as well, but we ran out of steam. We did not do the Equator Museum that day as we were going to visit the other site on the way to Otavalo the next day. Had a lovely lunch with them - and yes we ordered empanandas and potato soup! As all the other reviews have said, Angela and Jamie were a delightful couple. Angela was full of facts and figures and stories and Jamie added his own perspective as well. We were sorry to leave them at the end of the day. Besides their being excellent guides (and driver through busy Quito streets), the price for this tour was much less than what was quoted by our Galapagos tour operator because there was no middleman. Also our email communication with Angela to book the tour was very thorough and responsive with helpful info from the very beginning. We could not have been happier with the day we spent with Jamie and Angela.

The real deal Quito tour! - Where to start? If you are like me and have just a short period of time in Ecuador, this is the tour you want to take! I searched through all of the options on here and ended up choosing this one, and I am SO glad I did. Jaime and Angela were fantastic tour guides. This is not a tour where you are shuffled around in a big group to shops that give kickbacks to the tour operator. This is the real deal tour by locals who want to fill you with the rich history of Ecuador and all that it has to offer. We got to see everything we wanted and more, with fun and friendly conversation along the way. They will ask if you want to do/see anything specific and tailor the tour to your desires. However, we didn't know what we wanted to do really, and they worked up a really fun experience. We tasted chocolate at three different places, saw the sights (churches, monuments, scenic views), ate some really tasty empanadas, and went to the real middle of the earth. After this tour, I left feeling like I had seen and learned so much, but I also felt like I needed to return to Ecuador with more time to explore all there is. When your tour ends with hugs, you know it's been a great day full of lifelong memories. Do yourself a favor and book this tour if you have time. You will not regret it.

One unforgettable day in Quito! - We had one full day in Quito and we are so grateful that we spent it with Angela and Jaime! As soon as they picked us up, Angela began telling us all about Quito while Jaime drove us to our destination. We were so fortunate that it was a completely clear day and we could see nearly every single volcano in the area. The rest of our trip around the city was both beautiful and informative. We felt like we learned a lot from listening to Angela and Jaime that we would not have learned from lesser guides. They are experts and were outstanding hosts. They took us to some really pretty churches, cacao tasting, major sites to see in Quito, as well as to Latitude 0°. My favorite part was trying all the different types of chocolate! Thank you so much for making our visit to Quito unforgettable!

Great custom tour and experience - We booked a private tour with Jamie and Angela. They were very accommodating. My friends and I were in 2 different hotels. We told them our areas of interest and they put together a day which focused on those things. If you are looking for truly custom tour guides with good transportation and who have connections and are knowledgeable, suggest getting ahold of these 2.

Fully arranged private day trip! - We should leave more time in Quito however we only have one day. Angela and Jamie picked us up at 8:30AM on time, during this day we visited teleferico cable, San Francisco Church, Basílica del Voto Nacional, old downtown and middle of the world, everything is fully arranged and we backed to hotel around 6PM. Angela is an experienced, knowledgeable guide and Jamie is an experienced driver who is familiar with all the road conditions. We will definitely choose them and recommend to our friends if someone would like to visit Quito.

Excellent Private City Tour of Quito - Our private tour of Quito was arranged and conducted by Paul Esteban Romero (WhatsApp +593 99-118-0421). A few weeks before arriving in Quito we connected with Esteban to describe what we wanted and he put together a lovely day tour specifically centred on our request. This also included a private van pickup at our hotel near the airport which was very convenient for us. His in-depth knowledge of Quito and broader Ecuador made the day very informative and enjoyable. We toured La Compania and La Basilica churches, walked through the streets of Quito and did some shopping and enjoyed our trip to El Panecillo Hill to visit Our Lady of El Panecillo. Due to slightly overcast weather later in the day we were unable to make the trek up the Teleferico cable car - however Esteban had included this in our itinerary and we would have gone with better weather. Outstanding job by Esteban and Marcelo for our excellent day in Quito. Another fantastic feature of this tour is that it was less than half the price of other similar tours provided by ‘group’ tour companies. We happily paid in cash and feel we got a fantastic tour! Thanks again Esteban.

Incredible private tour, a must while in Quito! - Booked this trip with my husband & friend who brought their whole family! It ended up being a party of seven of us! Angela & Jamie were incredible guides (seriously so knowledgeable) & contacted us a few days before to modify the tour to our needs. We got to see so much in one day and had a private temperature controlled van! We checked off all of our top sites we wanted to see and they added some extras in like chocolate tastings and a lunch at a delicious empanada place. We will be sure to book a tour every time we return to Quito! Thank you for an amazing day!
