Quito highlights in a day - Great variety of experiences - middle of the world exhibit with fun and informative activities, cable car ride and short hike to enjoy the view, basilica tower climb, old town walk and chocolate tasting. Beautiful lunch location with a window seat overlooking the town square. Kathy really looked after us and we enjoyed the personal attention and insights from a Quito local.

Excellent couple experience! - Quito fell in love with us! The combination of history, nature and culture was unique. Excellent Day Tour of Quito - I had a wonderful experience on a day tour of Quito with driver Don Edu and Martial Guide. We visited many places but without feeling rushed. Martial was able to answer all my questions on many topics, history, plants, geography - very prepared and you can tell he takes pride in his work. If you have little time in Quito, this is a good tour to see the highlights, and both Guide and Driver were fantastic. I always felt safe and the parts where we went are very quiet, all without any problems.

Fantastic day around Quito - Galindo was our tour guide for the day and he did an outstanding job. He was prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the experiments at the equator and thought that the cloud forest was beautiful. We also shared a wonderful lunch and visited some beautiful churches in Quito. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you are short on time but want to catch the highlights around Quito.

More than expected from a day in Quito. - We only had one full day in Quito and wanted to explore as much as possible. Hence we chose this tour and we were not disappointed. We received a message the night before advising us our guide would be Galindo, also giving some helpful suggestions as to what to bring along. Galindo arrived at our hotel a few minutes early and we set off towards our first stop, the Teleferico. We expected amazing views over Quito but we didn’t expect how clearly we would be able to see the different neighbourhoods which Galindo then described and how we could see all the volcanos scattered along the mountain chains. Along the way we also met some llamas and swings which proved great photo opportunities. Next onto the equator line at the centre of the world where several fun experiments were demonstrated to us some of which required (minimal) participation. Honestly, even as a 53 year old it was cool to have one foot in the northern hemisphere and one in the southern. Then back into the old town for a fabulous lunch overlooking a square. Following this we explored churches, walking through roofs, climbing up towers, viewing amazing stain-glass windows and two squares. At the end we also managed a stop at a chocolate company where they informed us about their chocolate making process which ‘unfortunately’ involved tasting samples This has revolutionised our understanding of chocolate! Throughout the day, on the car journeys and at the sites Galindo imparted a huge amount of information on the eco systems, agriculture, flowers, trees and plants, the physical structure of Quito, Ecuador generally , the language and the culture. We know about the business of exporting roses, where Quito gets its water from and about why some horse breeds are small. Along the way he somehow found time to take us for some authentic ice cream …would heartily recommend passion fruit! We had a lot of fun (mum with and 18 year old daughter) and got much more out of our one day than we expected to. Thank you….Galindo!

Excellent tour and service - We enjoyed our tour of Quito with Galindo. He was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide and he took us to a great restaurant location for lunch, overlooking the main square - be aware portion sizes are very big! We also appreciated his flexibility in enabling us to fit in a visit to a chocolate tasting at the end of our tour. All in all the tour and service was excellent

Beautiful Quito - Your was incredible from start to finish! Excellent communication from our fantastic guide Pato as to what we would need for the day. His passion for the city of Quito was contagious and we fell in love with the city as well. Highly recommend this tour and Pato!
