A lot of local history and good food - Our guide, Alejandro, was about 30 minutes late; but, he did keep in contact. He also seemed to know everyone, so we had a couple of delays as he helped other tourists find their guides and made several phone calls. He did give us several stories at the stops, which was interesting. Some stops we had food samples and drink samples. Some stops we just walked by; as the entry fees were not included, it did not matter. Most of the stops were "friends" and attempts to give them business, but we understood that. I wish we would have taken this tour earlier as it was our last day and we could not enjoy the multiple restaurants that were recommended. A fair amount of walking, but some interesting history and information.

Food, drinks and a lot of information - We met at a corner park which seemed to be the spot for a lot of tours. Alejandro was about 30 minutes late, but maybe that is typical. The tour just started and we were interrupted by other travelers looking for their guides. Alec seemed to know everyone and made calls to help, which was fine; but we had to start our tour over. Our tour had a LOT of information and stories, but at times went on and on with no point. We made several stops, but never paid for any admissions. Maybe more of here this is and we could come back later on our own. Certainly enjoyed the shop and restaurant stops with samples and drinks. Alec gave us recommendations, but thought later it would have been nice to actually stay and eat. . . Not sure if we could have as it was not clear on that point. Saw several things that were different from a previous tour, especially the history of the 7 crosses. Wish we would have done this tour earlier so we could have enjoyed the recommended restaurants and museums, but it was our final day in Quito. Enjoyed the tour overall and felt it was a way to find some “local” spots.

Fun and informative tour! - Great tour. Stéphanie is very passion about her city. Took us to many places we would not have found on our own! Good value in our opinion...made the most of our one day in quito.
