A super delicious AND educational food tour! - We had a wonderful tour! Santiago was knowledgeable and took us to local food vendors that were filled with locals. We tried many yummy dishes and a variety of exciting fruits! Not only that, but Santiago was easy to be around with a great personality and friendly demeanor.

A wonderful introduction to Quito! - Our guide Santiago was delightful! He picked us up from our hotel, and we walked to various markets/stalls and shops. It was our first day in Quito, so it gave us a good overview of the area. We tried different fruits, drinks, savoury and fried food, and a delicious cheese pastry that Santiago said was the best in Quito. I believe him..I subsequently had one at the airport that wasn’t up to scratch! We also got a good view of the city from the Basilica, and saw some incredibly beautiful street art.

Excellent Introduction to Ecuadorian Culture and Food - Phenomenal. Part food tour, part historical tour, part walking tour, part cultural tour. Our guide was Santiago - he was extremely warm and knowledgable, and his passion for Ecuadorian culture was contagious. Tour only had three people and felt more like hanging with a friend who was showing you their favorite spots. Of course, I forgot to take pictures of most of the food, but I can assure you it was all amazing and you will struggle and fail to find comparable food on your own. Highlights on my tour (but tours will vary) were all the amazing fruits, ceviche, empanadas de verde, and encebollado. None seen pictured here, lol, my apologies. Santiago ended our tour at a local artists' coop space where we tasted some local chocolates, beer, and tequila. Tour seems expensive compared to others on the site but is 100% worth it, in my opinion. Santiago will also help you with tips and recommendations for the remainder of your trip. Skip breakfast to fully enjoy - there is a ton of food.

Book it! Enjoy the local experience!! - The food tour with Daniella was incredible! The food was impeccable and very authentic. Daniella was attentive to our needs, first we want to thank her again as we were running behind. She was super patient and kind upon our arrival. We jumped right into our juice and local fruit tastings, we ate local ceviche, Empanada de Vientow, local fish, yuca, rice, and took a great tour around the old town area. We will definitely recommend others to take this tour

Great way to learn about Quito - Santiago too us to some do the best local spots for food, including a fruit market where we tried a plethora of local fruits. In addition to food we were able to visit neighborhoods we wouldn’t have gone to and Street art as well.
