The best tour! - This was one of the best tours I have ever had anywhere, Jorge, Dario, and Pauli were incredibly professional, supportive and so knowledgable. I had the best time! Horses were really well kept and riding them in the park was just very magical. The hike is intense but amazing! Don’t think twice, book now!

Best tour EVER - Jorge was absolutely the kindest human. He picked me up at my air bnb and his energy is warm and inviting. He was so detailed in his knowledge of every site we visited and I was blown away by the entire experience. I highly recommend this tour. It was one of my most favourite days ever. And he’s a great photographer so I got amazing pics too.

The best experience in Quito - Without a doubt the best experience in Quito. Sooo many fun filled places. From start to finish an incredible adventure. If you can only do one thing when you visit Quito, I highly recommend this as the only option.

Layover in Quito - We had an extra day in Quito and we chose to participate in this adventure on very short notice. The day did not disappoint. We had an amazing time learning Ecuadorian history, tasting local cuisine, and riding to an amazing viewpoint overlooking Quito in the funicular. Jorge was an amazing host and guide. When I am in the area again, I would not hesitate to book a tour with Jorge and Footprint Journeys.

An Amazing Day in Quito - I had a day layover in Quito on my way to the Galápagos Islands and this tour was the perfect way to spend the time. Jorge was a gracious host and I felt completely safe the entire time. His truck was clean and he was an excellent driver. I never felt rushed during the tour and would not have been able to learn or see as much without his expert guidance.
Having been born and grown up in Quito, Jorge knew so much about the history of the area that he was willing to share. He knew the best way to maximize our time and minimize the crowds. From the beautiful churches to the chocolate tasting (a lovely shop that I purchased bars from as souvenirs to bring home to my boys) to the views at the top of the funicular, Jorge knew just the spots for the best photos and delicious food. I especially loved the hike and swings that felt on top of the world!
For an additional fee, Jorge was even willing to pick my husband and I up from our hotel near the airport and drop us back off instead of the standard meeting location - THANK YOU, JORGE, FOR A WONDERFUL DAY IN QUITO!!!

Awesome day tour - The equator museum was fascinating. We learned a lot about the indigenous people of Ecuador, the different regions of Ecuador, and the things that make it such a unique and diverse country. We went to the centro historico where we toured cathedrals. We had a fabulous lunch in a local spot. Then toured a chocolate factory and the presidential palace. It was great day

Extraordinary Experience with Outstanding Guide - I had the most incredible experience in Quito, Ecuador, thanks to our outstanding local guide, Jorge Sandoval, and our skilled driver, Manuel. They not only navigated us safely through a government curfew but also showcased the beauty of the area with a tour that included the mesmerizing basilica, a delicious chocolate tasting, a visit to Pululahua ( the largest inhabited volcanic crater on earth), experiments at the equator line, a charming breakfast with the hummingbirds, a captivating butterfly garden, and a refreshing swim at a waterfall in the Cloud Forest. Their expertise and thoughtful planning made our trip unforgettable, creating memories that will last a lifetime. I highly recommend this guide for an exceptional adventure in Quito!

Quito, Ecuador city sites and cloud forest tours - From meeting us at airport (late arrival) to prompt pock ups for tours: Fabulous. Flexible to accommodate additional stops (coffee and the BEST brownie in Mindo), excellent driver (Manuel), Jorge was a wealth of info and never seemed bored (he must have seen same sites thousands of times).
