Situated approximately 50 kilometers north of Ho Chi Minh City, they remain well-preserved to this day. Visitors to this site can gain insight into the lives of the North Vietnamese and explore a specially designed facility that served as a base of operations for Vietnamese soldiers during their resistance against American forces.
Highlights of Ben Dinh
Upon entering Ben Dinh, visitors are greeted with a comprehensive map of the entire tunnel system. They can also view bunkers and watch documentaries about the site.
The exploration of the tunnels begins with a small entrance. Inside, visitors can observe the weapons used against enemies, as well as the meeting room, surgery room, weapon storage, and more.
In addition to the tunnels, visitors can see a tank body in the woods, various weapons, a B52 crater, and learn how soldiers crafted their clothing and recycled broken tires to create rubber shoes.
